Kudos to those who had wonderful service by Gigi, I guess they caught her on the day she had taken her Prozac, I unfortunately am having the ABSOLUTE WORST experience with her. I wanted to plan a group cruise for fam & friends for Aug 2010, (1st mistake i made was look her up in the phone book without gettin any references or looking @ this website and yahoos,by the way all the other reviews are NEGATIVE), I contacted her in Sept 09 requesting rates for a group cruise, she emailed me the info and me an my group paid our deposits, a total of $880., she NEVER said anything about our deposits being NON REFUNDABLE, .after booking I found out from Carnival Cruise Lines she was suppose to offer our group incentives like cabin credits etc, which she told me Carnival wasnt offering any, she refused to provide us our booking number stating shes been a travel agent for 30yrs and never gives it out, but is suppose to and her rates were way higher than Carnivals.... when I pointed out these inconsistencies/LIES, she yelled at me to close my mouth I didnt know what I was talking about....so we decided we no longer wanted to PAY her for a service and she wasnt giving us correct information and talking to me like I was less than nothing. . We contacted her in Feb 2010 to cancel our trip, she said the deposits are non refundable and to call Carnival they have our money. I called Carnvial and they confirmed yes they did have our deposit and it was REFUNDABLE until 5/25/10 but as the travel agent when she booked us she paid with her company credit card and she has now cancelled the group and received the deposit from Carnival back to her company credit card yet she is REFUSING to refund $880. I could understand if she said there is a cancellation fee per cabin or something like that but for her to expect to keep $880 for a group that has cancelled is UNETHICAL. I asked her who the owner was so I could talk to him about the refund she gave me the name of James Russo, but refused to provide me any contact information for him, I decided to bing his information online only to find out that he only owned the company until 2007 and he is her DECEASED father. The BBB has HER listed as the owner. I filed a complaint with them and the LA Attorney Generals office (which she responded back to both complaints, if shes not the owner why is she responding to the complaints) asking her to provide me and these offices with what documentation she provided us letting us know "UP FRONT" that our deposits were non-refundable. Here response was I only wanted a free cruise as the group leader. I was the first person to pay a "cash" deposit, if I were only interested in a free cruise I wouldnt have paid a deposit and no one else in the group would have paid a deposit. She however told the case worker @ the La Attorney Generals office she didnt provide us any documentation and wasnt going to provide their office with any documentation either. Gigi did however tell one group member that "the owner" agreed to refund 1/2 of her deposit and she would forward an email from the owner...Gigi has 2 aol accounts one is a personal acct and the other is a business acct that she has listed on her business card...she sent an email from her personal account to her business acct and then forwarded it to the group member claiming it to be from this owner!! How DECEITFUL is that, and she hasnt received her half of that refund yet! Legally she cant keep our deposits we havent signed any contracts or documents yet she is refusing to refund our money so I have to take legal action which I will...To be continued, will post the outcome later...I would give this company 0 stars however I have to choose @ least 1 but I will never, ever, ever, do business with her again and plan to tell everyone I know about the ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE experience I received from Georgiann "Gigi" Shehee!

My experience with rainbow travel agency started off a little shaky but Gigi made it right. It wasnt because of anything she did. Just miscommunication from a third party that I used. Gigi is a fine lady and she help me plan a trip a year in advance and now Im about to go on one of the vacation of my dream. Everything worked out fine. The overall experience with Rainbow Travel Agency was very professional, timely, and pleasant. We traveled over seas in December 2011 and our travel plans were perfect! Because of our experience they will have our business again! I recommend this travel agency! We are a company that has worked with others in our travels, and this particular company gets five stars.

I dont know what your problem was but we have done our travel with Gigi for over 22years. She has been efficient, helpful and caring. We wouldnt do anywhere else. She is always concerned about getting the best fare and thats what we appreciate. Thanks Gigi

I called Gigi to inquire about a question that I had regarding a trip she had booked, and she was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER do business with this company because of her and her terrible attitude and customer service.

I am glad people leave reviews and it shows a lot about a person that does not respond to negative reviews with a suggestion or solution to the problem the customer is having. I will definitely stay away from this Gigi.

Thanks Gigi! Rainbow Travel Agency is the best! Im so glad I made my travel plans with Gigi. I was so stressed about our family trip and it took the stress away completely. I couldnt have asked for better service.
