Trust reviews!!! When a store has nothing but but negative reviews (even if its just a handful) believe them and do not think that them serving you will be any different. I had to ship a package and bill it to a FedEx account. Doing my research prior to deciding on a FedEx location, I read the negative reviews for this particular store. I had planned on going to another location in old town on Robert St but time would not allow so I ran into Office Depot. Office Depot could not bill the FedEx account so they suggested I take it to The Shipping Shop. Never having actually used a FedEx account before to ship, I thought perhaps they suggested the Shipping Shop because it was my only other local option. So after I had finished with picking up my daughter from school I ran over to the Shipping Shop with high hopes regardless of my inner voice telling me to listen to the negative reviews and besides I was thinking they were my only option. I told myself that if I was extra nice they would be too so I made sure to cheese it up. I filled out my paper work and when I needed help, they gave it but they werent over friendly about it. I thought well they just arent cheesy nice like most people around Slidell....thats all right, right?? Well I left from there with a tracking number thinking that my package was going to be shipped that same day. They werent overly friendly but as long as they saw to my package being picked up by FedEx that day, I could live without friendly cheesy service. However, after 20 hours of trying to track my package with no luck, I inquired with them about it. And to my surprise and disappointment my package had NEVER left the shipping shop on the day it was suppose to even though it was there when the FedEx driver made his pick ups. 20 hours later on the day after I dropped it there, it was still there. The Shipping Shop gave no explanation and DID NOT apologize. The guy said he was not sure what had happened and that something like that had never happened before. I went and picked it up from them after inquiring with the Postal Plus on Robert St. to make sure they could help me. After showing up in person, I still did not receive an apology from The Shipping Shop. Horrible customer service at the Shipping Shop!!!! After getting my package to Postal Plus where they gave me excellent service, I stopped by Office Depot to tell them face to face to NEVER recommend The Shipping Store to anyone. They were glad I did!!!

Absolute nightmare! Shippers beware! My 80-year-old mother was treated very rudely by someone named Michael. She left a package there with the understanding it would be sent via UPS. The package never reached its destination. When my mother returned to inquire about the missing package, she was again treated poorly by the same man. After almost two months, the items are still missing, and we dont seem to have any recourse. It would be nice if the owner of this establishment responded to these reviews! Very disturbing!

The man who works here is an absolute jerk!!! I went there last weekend thinking maybe he was having a bad day... Went back today...nope he is still a jerk!! This time I let him know!! I grabbed my box and went somewhere else. Even though this place is right by my house, I will gladly take my business elsewhere. DO NOT GO HERE!! Save yourself the irritation of an unhappy human being...

The Shipping Shop has been taken over by new owners. They are very friendly. I use the Shipping Shop to send all of my UPS & Fedex business shipments. They are the ONLY Fedex-UPS drop off center in Slidell that provides customer receipts.

The guy who runs this place has no personality and makes you feel like hes doing you some sort of favor by shipping somethings for you.
