Ive spent quite a bit over the last few years in search of a stylist & products that work well with both me and my hereditarily easily damaged & severely unruly hair. SO MANY bad hair days. Ill admit, after having tried a couple of the leading salons in Portland, I was discouraged and found that spending more really didnt make any difference, and why it took me so long. I had an appointment with Burke, the salon owner no less, and sat down ready for anything. I didnt want to overwhelm him with the concept I had, and I did occasionally worry throughout my appointment that maybe I didnt say enough. Outside of the unsurpassed relaxation I experienced, I was beyond pleased at the result. It wasnt at all dated, the color was better than I expected and most important of all the CUT is maybe the best Ive ever had, rivaling one from the SOHO district in London which held place up until. His expertise is quite obvious and also when regarding products. The whole package. I did see a few people with the other stylists before and after, whom also had glorious results. I feel so satisfied when people run businesses with such integrity, because many dont. GET IN THERE! (Thank You Burke!!!!!)

I had an appointment as a new customer and was told my stylist was running just a few minutes late.. 25 minutes later and she wasnt anywhere close to done with her previous client. I can understand that she was taking her time but I found it rude and disrespectful that none of the staff spoke to me about the extended wait. Very disappointed in the customer service

Great total experience. Weve seen two stylists, and they always cut my and partners hair exactly how we want it. Never have any complaints, and the staff is very smart about their products. Wont go anywhere else.
