I took my truck to the vip in saco trying to figure out a noise coming from my rear tire.after inspection they were unable to diagnose problem.they said they had found a cooliant leak in my intake manifold and i needed a new gasket.i had set up a date to have this done ,they held on to my truck for 4 days .They explained it was gonna take some extra time because they had received the wrong size orings and wanted to do the job right.A couple of days passed and my check engine light had come on.brought it back they told me it was the wrong size orings that were put in my truck causing a air leak,and it would take some ti me to get the right size.A month had passed of playing phone tag and finally they got the right part.I was under the impression that there would be no charge due to the fact it was there fault,and no service charges were ever discussed .They charged me for the part and half labor when i went to pick up the truck.The store manager said that no orings were replaced .I asked him why it took the extra days to get the job done when they toId me they were waiting on the rings.He had no answer,said none of it made sense to him.It took a month of playing phone tag with hr reps and one guy (who im not sure actually does) before i was able to get the district managers name and number.After leaving him about 10 messages without ever getting a call back,he finally left me a message saying (ive done some research and there is nothing we can do)I never got the chance to tell him my side of the story......Tell your worst enemies to shop at vip.Due yourself a favor and stay away ,ive never done business with a company that is this disregarding to the customers rights or opinions.Thank you vip for wasting my time and money.

My friend and I, and our daughters set out Tuesday morning from Bath to Saco to enjoy a hot day at aquaboggin. As we exited the highway, two of the five lug nuts on the front drivers side snapped off, leaving me in quite the predicament. However, I limped my vehicle to your location, where I was greeted by Scott. He offered to get my vehicle operational, despite being short staffed, and juggling an already full schedule. Upon discovering that my front brakes were worn to the metal, and that the studs for the tire were not seating properly, he not only assured me that the work would be covered, due to a previous visit to replace the lower ball joint, but that he was concerned about the children having to stay at the business location for such a long time, he offered to phone me a rental car so that I could tend to the things I needed to take care of. After several minutes of staying on the phone, there were no rentals available anywhere in the vicinity. Scott and Rolando worked tirelessly, even staying past operating hours to get me on the road again. At no time did they take the easy road, and try and dismiss me, or complain about the situation, of the rambunctious kids that flooded his store. After the job was done, Rolando backed my car off the lift, I thanked him for his great work, and he told me it was worth it to make a customer happy! I work in the hospitality business, and we all know that the type of work we do on a day to day basis is often ungratifying. I just hope Scott, and Rolando can be recognized for their outstanding customer service today. Im home, my kids are content, and my vehicle is parked in my drive way. Great Job!

Staying at girlfriends house went out for a little while then went back to the house came out to go out again right rear tire was flat so I took it off. Brought it over to get it fixed lady at the counter said they were busy I said ok but ok so how long to fix the tire no real answer .I also so ask if the tire could not be fixed if they were able to the brand of tire that is on my car they said they could and would call me this was at twelve . So we went out and did a bunch of errands and other things so after two hours called it was not done yet .We were done with our errands so went to vip around three not done yet and was told the person that was suppose to fix it went to lunch .I dont begrudge somebody lunch if that was the case assign somebody else to fix it . So we went back to the house they close at six it is now quartet of five I call again it is finally fixed it took them four hours and 45 minutes to fix a flat tire and no phone calls .I had planned to go back home that day I live in Massachusetts I finally got the tire back got some excuse about the the slip was in a different folder it was just plan poor commutations and that it was just a small job and they did not want to take the time to do it .Had I not called and bitched I probably would not have got the tire back till the next day this is the last time I go there .They did not charge for the tire which was the right thing to do. No matter how big or small the jobs is communication is the best customer service dont leave somebody hanging bad business so now they have lost a customer I will not go to a VIP tire center

In the Spring of 2015 I came into VIP during their tire sale. The staff person at the counter was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the best tires at the best price for my vehicle. Today , 9/9/15 I returned to VIP because my low tire pressure light was on . The service counter was a bit understaffed but I was still helped in a timely manner. The staff person suggested it was probably a slow leak in one of the tires due to a nail puncture. Upon my leaving the store I asked the staff person to call me when my car repair was done and he agreed he would in 30 to 40 mins. An hour later I had not received a call so I returned to the shop and saw my car parked in the lot . The service person said my car was ready and he apologized for not calling. He had guessed correctly since the problem was a nail puncture in one of the tires. I asked how much I owed and he explained it was no cost since I bought the tires from there shop. I was both pleasantly surprised and pleased. I would recommend VIP to friends and family.

I have always been very skeptical of the level of honesty when it comes to mechanics. This is based largely on past experiences of my own and others I know. When you find a good mechanic, stick with them! I needed four tires replaced so I thought Id give VIP a shot. They were very close to my house and had excellent reviews. The power of the internet has become a game changer for how businesses are viewed by the public. This place gets the good customer service = repeat business equation. From start to finish I received friendly service with NO pressure. This is important to me as many of these quick fix places train their staff to sell, sell, sell. If you come in for an oil change they remove other filters and recommend changing if necessary. anyone that doesnt want to deal with this should just say up front they arent interested in anything other then what they have come in for. I didnt experience this from VIP despite what some reviews of other locations said. I will absolutely be back!
