We will be opening MaineLy Child Care LLC in South Portland tentatively before January 2017, pending licensing inspections. It has been a long process finding a building that meets all of our needs, but we have found a perfect one to grow our program and we invite you to come grow with us! Our new hours of operation will be Monday-Friday 6:00am- 6:00pm Things that you can look forward to in our new program: -Age appropriate classrooms that have been intentionally set up and inspired by Reggio Emilia -Fitness based curriculum with 1/2 court gymnasium and basketball hoop -One 45 minute fitness class each day with a certified teacher (i.e.- yoga, flow arts, creative movement, martial arts, tumbling etc) -Organic foods from local farms and a menu created in collaboration with a Portland chef who sources food locally. -Eco healthy classrooms -Reduced amount of chemicals and plastics -Full on site garden and an opportunity to learn alongside a horticulturist -Daily Exposure to classical music -A Building that was recently built specifically for a child care facility -Summer Camps for school aged children -Field Trip opportunities -Many more enrichment offerings. -The same love and personal care you would expect from our home based child care. We are currently accepting applications and reserving spaces for full time enrollment. We have very limited part time spots available. Please join us in spreading the good news! We will hosting an open house as we get closer to opening our doors.

I can not believe the way this daycare is run. My daughter was consistently getting hurt there, they never stuck to their ratio count and my daughter would scream every drop off. I had to pull her out - safety is an issue. I would pick my daughter up every day and she would be sitting at the table crying while the teacher in the room was vacuuming - really? You couldnt do that after the kids left? I would pop in randomly and she would again be at the table - just sitting there. Not a good place for your child. The owners just do not care - they would leave for weeks at a time and left anyone in charge. When I finally gave my 2 week notice the owner ignored me, refused to talk to my daughter (who is 2!!) and was just plain rude. Think carefully before you enroll there. (AND - its not cheap!!)

As a parent and a teacher I give MaineLy Childcare five stars+. I wouldnt want my baby anywhere else and I wouldnt want to teach anywhere else. I am finally in a place that meets my high standards as a teacher and a parent. This is a place that truly provides your children with what they tell you your children will be provided with.

Im currently looking for childcare and I wouldnt put my child here simply because of what appears to be the daycares or a parents response which was quite inappropriate. Someone obviously isnt considering the child in this scenario or the parents concern for the child. Thats a big red flag!

Please be advised this is NOT BUSY BEE! Please pay attention to the date of the reviews. MAINELY CHILDCARE is scheduled to open on January 2, 2017. It is new owners, new management, new directors, and absolutely no affiliation with the previous owners.

a great place to bring your child. building is new and full of extras . the care is great and prices are super.i hope you all will check it out and sign your child up
