This is, by far, the worst post office Ive ever encountered. I lived in the Abingdon zip code for 6.5 years. The mail carrier consistently gave me other peoples mail, the post office lost my outgoing mail so much that my landlord had to give me his bank account # so I could directly deposit checks in there... I moved in early January and put in for a change of address on January 4... and repeated the request on January 17. I drove to the post office on February 5 with a third request and as of February 27, I STILL do not have any of my mail from that address. I couldnt be more disgusted.

They lost a package that i was returning for a refund from a company for $150. Id paid extra for signature confirmation to ensure that it was received. My package never got to its destination & wasnt even sent to the right return address. They brought it to my friends house across the street. The box was beat up. I went back & asked for the extra money I paid for signature confirmation. I didnt even ask for the money it cost to ship it. They would not do it. They didnt do their job at all and kept my money. The manager struck an attitude with me.

I was on vacation for a week, had mail hold submitted and confirmed. When I returned, all my mail was jammed into my small apt mailbox. I reported it to the postmaster, no real explanation, except regular carrier was on vacation. Substitute carrier/s had no common sense nor did they follow procedures, training issue??? IDK! This is the second time I have reported mailed jammed into box. Is it time to take this to the next level?????

Not bad. The majority of the time there are 3 people at the counter and the line moves. Pleasant people. My loss of two stars is for the delivery. Neat lady but wish she would slow down and make certain the correct mail goes into the appropriate/ matching box number. I really dont like people knowing my business so when the wrong mail consistently goes into the wrong box, its highly annoying. Good Post Office. Recommend.

i dread every time i have to go into this post office. seems like all the staff hates their job and never wanna corporate with you. you wait in line for ever and when you get the counter in stead of them waiting on you they just say you need this and that and get back in line. even if what you have to fill out only takes a second. frustrating,

I have received so much mail thats been torn open and a Christmas card that was months late, torn open and looked like it was ran over. I dont trust these people, its like they are looking for money or gift cards. If it rains hard sometimes they dont deliver mail that day, never are consistent times.

I dont know why this USPS has an inability to leave a package at our door. If it doesnt need to be signed for it seems easy enough. UPS and FedEx can do it all day long. But with this Post Office, no note on the door, no package. Ive got to drive there to pickup my package!

Tried to charge $2.18 in extra postage to deliver an envelope when it should only have been $0.21 more. They said my envelope was a "parcel" when in fact it was only to be charged a "non-machinable surcharge." Even when the manager was corrected, she did not apologize.

Package delivery drivers for USPS are the worst, WHEN A PACKAGE SAYS FRAGILE IT DOES NOT MEAN THROW IT UP 3 CONCRETE STAIRS TO MY FRONT DOOR!! Contents were of course broken. Way to go, typical government worker, leaching off the taxpayer doing subpar work.

Slow and steady... at being slow. Takes forever to get anything done here. Can take weeks to get mail delivered. Very disappointing.
