I hate the Lancaster postal service. I have had very few packages delivered to be on time or in nice condition. For instance, one time a package was marked as delivered online, but wasnt actually delivered until over 2 weeks later. Another time, a handmade birthday card from my mother arrived over TWO MONTHS late in terrible shape and the gift card inside had been stolen (the envelope was scotch-taped closed - smooth!). Several other times my packages were left in my backyard on stormy days completely unprotected so that the items inside were damaged or ruined by the time I got home from work (didnt bother to put them in plastic bags as UPS does or just keep them at the post office for me to pick up). This latest time the track and confirm just told me that delivery was attempted and notice was left this afternoon. Well, I was home all day and heard the postman deliver my mail through the front door, but he did not knock to try to deliver a package and nothing was left by my back door either. Checked over the entire outside of the house for a notice telling me how to get my package, but of course that was a blatant lie-- no notice whatsoever to be found. No idea what to do now. Just the worst service imaginable for something so important.

My packages keep getting sent to the wrong address from this USPS location! For the 3rd week straight my package is being delayed because somebody from this location is rushing & not doing their job correctly. My packages are being sent to similar but incorrect zip codes so I have to wait an additional 2-5 days every time this happens. Hope the manager finds and fires whoever it is

Three times in the last few months delivery was attempted and a notice was left (HA HA). Not on one occasion was it true. I was home every time AND a notice was not left. They are too lazy to do their job. I wish I had a job where I could work 2% of the time, and lie and not get fired. Oh, and I also complained about this all three times it happened. Yet, it still happens.

When I call about a letter that we are expecting Im given excuses and lies or i cant talk to anyone at all. Dont tell me one thing when it isnt the truth. Im so sick and tired of the postal workers and their attitudes. You are supposed to be helpful but you are far from that. There is a thing called customer service and you guys need to go to training for this.

Everytime I get a package delievered which cant fit in the mailbox, they sit it on top of the mailbox or rubber band the package to the mailbox! Their too lazy to walk to the door and deliver it properly. Its ridiculous, theyre too lazy to walk to the front door and deliver the package.

I dont know why everyone has such bad reviews for this location. They have been great every time Ive used them. Yeah, they have long lines, but its the post office. Expect that. Weve gotten our daughter passport here and shipped a bunch of different things. Never a problem.

Dont answer the phone, slow, and I have lived in this apartment for a month now but the will not make me a mailbox key. I have filled out 3 applications for it and they have lost every one of them. Ive had to file a complaint against them. Rediculous!!!

3 day priority package arrived here 25 hours ago, and has not left there. I could have driven to the original sender and been back home by now. Maybe priority has a different definition in this town. AND never answer the phone. Zero stars if I could.

I have been trying to reach someone at the post office to have a postman install your lock system on our apartments in Lancaster. I have not been able to get someone on the line. Its either busy or no one answers. Not sure what to do from here.

I was home whole day and they still left notice in my mailbox. That happened to me on multiple occasions. Please stop lying and start delivering. Try to get out of that box you drive around and start knocking on the doors.

The incompetent people that deliver the mail to Hawthorne Ridge constantly misplace my mail in other peoples mailboxes and even lost a box of my personal checks which somebody else probably got as well.

I use this post office location regularly and I have always had a positive experience, being helped by friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking staff who go out of their way to make sure I get what I need.

I see all the bad reviews and I have to disagree. This is my #1 choice when mailing letters or packages. Convenient!!! And yes, there may be a line at times but what post office doesnt have that?

100% true. Its impossible to reach them. The phone was busy all the time I called. Maybe they should hire more people, because USPS prices are going up each year, but service is the same;(

Do not try to call this office. The union employee in charge of the phones will not pick up, most likely on break. But apparently no one else is allowed to answer the phones!!!!
