Worst post office Ive ever had to deal with. I just moved to deep creek from great bridge area and had my mail forwarded on the 22nd of January. I did not recieve anything for weeks, and actually had a package coming ( supposedly from FedEX which I found out later they give to the post office to deliver) and it turns out the person who lived at my house previously had the same last name as I do so the mailman took it upon himself to forward all of my mail. It turns out that this same person is in the Navy and actually on a ship so this is where my mail has been and where my package was forwarded to without my knowledge or notification. I found all of this out a week ago, still have not heard back from anyone and my tracking number still has the same information as it did on Feb. 5th. They told me that I should be recieving my package but had no idea when and couldnt give me any info when I talked to them a week ago, and now they just arent answering the phone (they could be on a 2 hour lunch break). I have now decided to refrain from buying anything online unless they ship through UPS, because I am SO VERY FRUSTRATED.

Called about a package that was out for delivery 5 days ago. Never received package. Status was updated to Delivery status not updated 4 days ago. Called main USPS number and they said theyd have it delivered to me today. Called to follow up and they gave me the number to the post office it is at (this location). When I called this office, I was told they couldnt find my package and theyd call me back. I called an hour later and I was told they were waiting to hear from the carrier. Ive called again and Ive been on hold a long time. This was a Christmas present I paid extra for to ensure delivery. Im very dissatisfied and can only theorize that the driver forgot to drop my package off and brought it back to the PO and it has been sitting there until it was lost.

It is a small building with a huge amount of PO Boxes. The counter may have no more then 2 postal clerks working at one time but I have seen 3 ever once in awhile.. It can get slow there but the clerks are friendly and know the area. I have not had an issues with mailing anything or receiving anything from this Postal location. They seem to be competent and knowledgeable. Not only have I mailed and received items across the USA but I have even mailed and received packages/mail across seas through this location with no issues. My opinion they seem to be a trusted location.

I was awaiting the arrival of a package for several hours and the post office website reported that the postal carrier was unable 2 obtain a signature and the package was returned. I was home with the door open and watched the postal carrier drive past. He never even got out of his vehicle to try for a signature. It was a sunny day and approximately 80 degrees. There was no reason for this. It took another 8 days for that package to arrive as they had to receive it, check it out, and then send it again.

Rude clerks, Rarely have the flat rate boxes in stock(I know thats a lot to ask of the USPS) My great grandfather was a Postmaster back in the 60s and would turn over in his grave to see how this office is run. I guess it goes along with the rest of the USPS nowadays- dont care, arrogant, rude clerks. I will not be sorry when they are all out of work and the mail is privatized. I have had it with the terrible service constantly received from the USPS.

The absolute worst Postal Office Ive ever dealt with! They wont answer the phone when you call , very very nasty attitudes by the employees when they do answer the phone. I ordered a package and it was sent there and they lost it or claim they "couldnt find it". Let them be your last resort of Post Offices. Wish I could rate them a minus star. They dont deserve a full one.

For the second time , no mail service at all for my street. This is ridiculous. There is absolutely NO excuse for the post man to not deliver or pick up when it is NOT a holiday ! Service stinks in the Elmwood East section of Chesapeake !

The staff at this location is beyond rude, took several attempts to get anyone to answer the phone and when I was able to finally speak with someone she spoke over top of me and didnt listen to what I needed.

Horrible...I dont understand how it can be so difficult to get out of the mail service truck, walk up and ring the doorbell for a certified letter to be signed and received....even after filling a complaint!

Great service and friendly people inside the post office. The only problem I have with this post office is that my mail doesnt hit my mail box sometimes until after 6 pm.

Staff was helpful when I was trying to deliver a large package of cards and helped me save money by helping me move the cards into a flatrate box. Saved about $15.

Lazy workers. Guy didnt deliver my package because he couldnt walk two steps out of his truck to the mailbox. No wonder the USPS is failing. Use fed ex or UPS
