I live in NC & travel to Baltimore (440 miles) almost every 6 weeks in a 2005 car with over 180,000 miles to visit my great grandson. On 12/7/16, I went from Baltimore to Delaware & then to Annapolis. When I got to Annapolis, my brake & engine lights came on. I stopped & called at least 4 places (none could even look at the car that day) b/4 I called AAMCO on West Street in Annapolis, MD. Jorge Natal, the Customer Service Manager, could not have been more helpful. He said to bring the car in right away & his mechanic would look at it, but he could not fix it until the next day b/c they were busy. When I got there, I explained that if it could not be fixed that day I would have to rent a car b/c I had to take my sister back to Delaware & get back to Baltimore for my great grandsons 6th birthday the next day. This meant I had to rent a car for at least 3 days in addition to paying for fixing the car. I have NEVER, EVER been treated so well by any other car place. The mechanic looked at the car - it needed a new alternator - & the part was ordered & in order to save me $$$, the car was fixed by 5p while I had lunch with my 2 sisters. Unbelievable - I have been singing AAMCO in Annapolis praises since then. The car has been running perfectly since that day. Another amazing thing Mr. Natal did is that he called me personally 2 days after this incident to make sure the car was running well and I had made it back to NC safely. This was surely a first for me - Im 70 years old & have been driving since I was 16! I highly recommend AAMCO for everyones car needs. Remember, they are a total car care place. If you happen to go into the AAMCO of Annapolis on West Street, tell Jorge Natal & his excellent mechanic that Ginger Trapanotto says "hello."

My husband & I were in the Annapolis area when our vehicle quit do to "internal transmission failure" per the dealership where we had vehicle towed. We were told that it would cost $9,500 to put in a transmission. The cost for repair was more than the value of said car. I phoned AAMCO & spoke w/ a gentleman named George who was extremely nice & efficient. I explained said situation to him & he advised me that he would call me back w/ price of replacing said transmission. George called back w/in 2 hours w/ quote of how much it would cost to replace. The cost was definitely better than the initial quote. Fortunately for us the dealership replaced transmission for free! I am simply rating this company do to the conversation w/ George. He was professional, honest,& down right nice. I felt it is important to pass on information that is positive towards a mechanics reputation. If I lived in the area (Im 5 hours away) I would definitely give AAMCO m;y business. Thanks for assisting me during a stressful situation. Kudos to George!

Mr. Russell and Company treated me with fairness and respect. After 24 hours of stressful decisionmaking (to either keep or let go of my car permanently), mutually arrived at a very reasonable, low cost repair decision, allowed me to keep my high-mileage car and buy time to seek purchasing another one. The gentlemen gave me a 6- month labor warranty, if ever needed. This franchise at Annapolis should be a representative model of how well an AAMCO should be owned and operated anywhere in America, and, with good customer service. JPs Towing, also based in Annapolis, wisely referred/recommended me to this business--I thank them, too.

I had a transmission problem back in May 2015 and it took them 3 weeks to fix it. There was no follow up. If I didnt call to ask about the status of the car, I wouldnt get a call back from them. All that time I had to pay for a rental! On top of that one week later the car stopped working completely in the middle of the freeway due to transmission problems . Now 7 months later the new transmission stopped working again. And I left there to see what they can do and again the same unprofessional treatment. They have the car for a week now and still couldnt figure out what the problem is

I went to AAMCO last year and I was so please with the service there, that now they are the only people I trust with my car. I am a single woman and as most of you know mechanics sometime tend to take advantage of that, however not my AAMCO. I live in Baltimore, but I will continue to bring my car to my AAMCO in Annapolis on West Street if ever the need. They never overcharge me, they are always friendly and very courteous, and I would recommend them to any of my family and friends. Absolutely the Best! I give AAMCO on West Street, Annapolis 5 stars! Thank you guys

They have done quite a bit of work on my sons car. A week ago it had a cracked rear seal . The car was a different shop who stopped work once they realized the problem was caused be parts left in between the transmission and the engine. Once contacted the team at AAMCO made the situation right took total responsibility and helped to fix the problem at no cost to me. Thanks guys !!! I appreciate it lots of places would not do that . You are awesome

Wish there were more stars to give these guys. Lee installed remanufactured trans in my 2008 Pathfinder and thoroughly cleaned up the mess from the defective radiator that caused the trans to fail, a Nissan factory defect. He delivered the car on time, picked me up when needed and even put gas in my car for free. Plus his mechanical work is the best. George scheduled the appointment and was easy and cooperative to work with. Outstanding service.

I took my car here for an issue with the transmission. They recomended a new transmission, but after getting a second opinion it turns out it was just a leaking hose and low transmission fluid. AAMCO said the transmission fluid level was fine, but I dont think they even looked at my car, just figured they would see if they could get me to buy a new transmission from them for a couple thousand dollars.

I took my car to another repair shop for an estimate to repair my leaking transmission. Their estimate was $3,400.00. So I took my car to AAMCO of Annapolis. They identified the problem, repaired the problem for $500.00, and returned my car back to me the very next day. Excellent job, and quick service. Will definitely go back again. Thanks Jorge
