Took my car there a month ago to get new tires on my 2014 Camaro. I only brought it to that location because of the ratings. But after waiting a week to get the tires which I purchased already. They put the tires on and when I got my car I noticed scratches on my rims. I live in PA which I work during the day and go the school during the night, so with that said its hard to get time to come back down. But I called them letting them know what have happened after trying to see if the scratches will come off. The manager told me if he find out if the tech did it he will refund me. That took a month which the manager there never looked at the cameras. I had to keep contacting them about the situation until he says "well the reason we didnt check the camera because you never gave us an estimate" after hearing that I was like ok Ill get you an estimate took it to a shop they told me $1000 which is $250 per wheel. I took it to him and he tells me "it looks like a kid wrote it" I said ok Ill take it to the place you refer customers to for this kind of issue after scrapping there rims. I went there they told me 185 per wheel which is 740. Then he sent it over to the director. Never heard anything so I called 1800-PEPBOYS to file a claim. After almost a week I finally got a call from the director who was on the phone with this same manager I missed the call because I was working. When I called back the number was at a laurels location and the guy name was Frank who was suppose to be the "area director" he basically told me they will deny the claim because it looks like curb damage. I will never ever go there again and will let everyone I know to never get their tires changed.

I scheduled an early appointment to get my cars oil changed, tires balanced, and an alignment. I got there and they said itll be a little bit which was fine I knew I was getting a decent amount done. After about 2 hours the guy comes out to tell me there alignment machine only goes up to 2013 models...how can you have a shop that offers that after I said over the phone my car was a 2014? Why did it take 2 hours to tell me that? Then he said he drove my damn car without telling me first, got grease all inside of it and said its fine...thats what the machine is for not a joyride. Then he tells me the coolant is wrong even though its factory and I needed to go to the dealer. I was worried so I called the dealer and left without time to voice my agitation. As I was driving there I saw they overfilled all my tires way beyond what they needed to be and when I got to the dealer they said the coolant was perfectly fine. My car has never had overheating problems so I should of known. The dealer at least ordered a TPMS I needed and installed it at no cost. Ill never go to a pep boys again this experience was absolutely awful and I cant believe they can even call it a service. A waste of my time, money, and peace of mind.

The entire experience was a nightmare. I took my car in for an oil change and to see why there was shaking when pressing the break before selling my car. It took 2 hours to take my car back and an hour and a half to tell me nothing was wrong BUT I should replace the breaks, rotors, calipers, struts, tires and alignment to see if that fixes the issues I was having. Then charged me $19.99 for nothing. I declined all work and took my car to Toyota who diagnosed my car for FREE within an hour. After that I didnt trust Pep Boys so I checked the work that was supposedly completed. I Found out that they did not rotate the tires or change my oil filter!!! Not sure why I paid $64 for a service when it was not complete. Got everything fixed and sold the car but wanted to discuss this with the manager. He couldnt have cared any less. He wanted me to get my car back to show him. I explained that I didnt have it any longer and he pretty much called me a liar. Totally unacceptable experience. I recommend visiting another store in Baltimore!

Made an appointment to have my car looked at, I informed the person on the phone that my steering was sounding rather strained. I figured it was low fluid, a belt, possibly a power steering pump. Got a call back from them and they said it was the power steering pump. i asked how much it would be to replace it and they told me 200 for the part and 400 for the labor including flushing and replacing all the fluid. A few hours later I receive a call and the man on the phone said they ordered the wrong part and the pump that they needed to order was going to be over 450 dollars. When they were told that I would be taking my vehicle somewhere else they informed me that they had to put everything back together because they started taking things apart before they realized they had the wrong part. To sum things up, this shop will waste your time and money and dont expect them to take responsibility for their mistakes. Not what you would call professional.

I recently brought my two vehicles too this location to get an oil change and tires. The gentlemen that waited on me was professional and helpful and that was about the only thing good i can say. After my vehicles were complete i noticed that the oil lights and tire lights were still on in my vehicles. I asked if there was anyone to reset them, no one in the store knew how and my fluids were not filled back up. I know this is not something major but i spend a lot of money there and shop at Pepboys often and for this level of service i was not happy. In addition because the lights were left on it makes me wonder if the work was even done. Its sad but I will not be going back to Pepboys for any additional work done to my car in the future.

Poor customer service.... I went yesterday for a tire plug and I was told to come back in the morning, when I arrived ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMERS were in the store but me and they told me they we booked up. I said why would you tell me to come if you knew you were booked and he said "Im sorry". He started suggesting other locations. I said no thank you as I pulled around there werent any cars in the shop just one man sitting there eating breakfast. In customer service you serve the business in front of you instead of what your anticipating because if they never come at least you have something. It was just a tire plug. So I went to another business which took 30 mins. Never Again...

On Sunday, I had a tire installed on a new alloy wheel, they installed it and balanced it, charged 24.99 for the job. by the next morning, tire lost all the air. so I took it back. They found out that it was not installed right and charged another 10 for balancing for the 2nd time. I did not have time to argue so I let it go but How can they charge me for 2nd time for the same job when it is their fault? I have wasted my time and effort on this, and that was bad enough, now they charge me again like it was not their problem. it is a great business idea, create problem for customer on your own and when the customer comes back, charge them again. I will never go there again.
