Two of our five vehicles was a Mercedes-Benz that needed service. SSI did well with the first one, just needed an oil change and some minor things, the second was NOT. We originally towed this vehicle in because part of the motor blew. SSI gave a good analysis from a surface-level standpoint (primarily because we did not want to pay for SSI to open-up the engine and have to charge us all that money from the beginning). So we asked Sloan if we should leave the car there or tow it; he said there was no problem leaving it. Also, we also stayed in contact periodically so that SSI was never pressured to take the burden of having the car on their lot. After asking around to other MB auto tech in the area we asked SSI to perform the "drip down" test so that we could collectively come to a better realization what the extent of the damage was. This requires opening up the head. After the results, we asked for more time to make our decision, and reaffirmed our readiness to remove the vehicle from his lot whenever he/SSI is ready. We could not come to the decision to save the vehicle after a few weeks of deliberations so, we then called to have it towed back so we could sell it AS-IS. Before it was in fact towed, Sloan made a couple of weak offers for the car AS-IS and we denied those offers. We presume he did not like this and decided to do the following: To leave the head completely open and disassembled (parts in the trunk). We called after it returned to our residence and asked him what type of behavior this is and he responded with clear arrogance and then neglect. We payed for a drip-down test and it is COMMON CUSTOM that this operation, and hence charge, includes closing up the engine that is opened up during the process. We did not get what we paid for, nor did we receive any attention after we requested (cool and calmly) this error in customer relations. This is A RED FLAG because money was taken for an incomplete operation and Sloan Services Inc. received FULL cooperation and consideration from US, the customer, while purposefully denying our right to have that reciprocated.

Professional, Competent and Great People All around excellent service from SSI. I have used several shops during the course of my ownership and they are the only technicians that were able to identify a problem with the installation of a suspension component. Everyone else made excuses as to why the car could not be setup the way it should have been. All of the other shops held themselves out as high quality race/track prep facilities. Very frustrating. SSI was able to get the car setup properly. I am extremely happy with how the car has turned out. Out at the track, they went out of their way to help my friend locate, deliver and install brake pads so he would not miss drive time. He isnt even a regular customer! Sloan and crew are a great team.

been bringing my cars to SSI since 2003 for all kinds of schedule maintenance, service and modifications. 2 Infiniti, 1 VW, 1 Merc and now a BMW. will continue to bring my vehicles here for continued great service and staff...and I live in PA. it is worth the drive.

These guys are very helpful and have great customer service. Just got a 996 C4S and had them install a set of sway-bars that the owner Sloan suggested. The sway-bars have been great. I am taking my car back to them.

The check engine light was on for a while. My poor car was becoming senile. SSI auto services did the trick. My cars no longer sick. Add one more 5-star review to the pile.

A really great place to bring your car from a simple oil change to much bigger services. All the workers are very helpful and friendly. Cost is very reasonable as well.
