Fair and Honest has been my experience. I own a small business with 18 vehicles and we all rely on our vehicles to get to and from customer locations on a daily basis. When we relocated our business to the Severna Park area in June of 2011 I needed to find a reputable company to help maintain and repair my company vehicles. I approached Severna Park Automotive and met one of the owners (Mike McNealy) who quickly gave me a sense that he treat us all fairly and at an affordable price. Weve been in dealing with Mike and company now since June of 2011 and have been very pleased with the level of service his company has provided to us. Many of my friends now use Severna Park Automotive and I would definitely recommend Severna Park Automotive to anyone in the area.

I dont understand the good reviews here and elsewhere, I guess its by people who dont care or dont realize they are being overcharged. I only went there once and after the fact I discovered that the same parts this shop installed in my car cost 40-50% less e.g. at Autozone (across the street) and the labor they claimed for my job is about twice as long as other places that I found on the internet. So I ended up paying upwards of $400 for a repair that Im not even sure it was necessary to begin with. The quality of the work may be good, I cant tell yet, but if you care about your money, dont go there. Even if you dont care about your money do everyone a service and find another shop. Do not perpetuate the rip off.

I have been going to SPA for over 10 years. They have always been honest and reasonable. I have used other places in the past including dealers and often do repairs myself. You can always save money by buying cheaper parts at places like Auto Zone and do it yourself, but the parts never last that long. SPA buys the best quality parts at a fair price. They have worked on my BMW for years and only use OEM BMW parts. You can buy cheaper parts for a BMW, but they never work as well. SPA does the job once and does it right with the right parts. I have found that they only recommend work that is really needed. I believe that they are a very trustworthy business that is very friendly.

Fantastic service. They are equipped with the newest technology to perform the necessary task on your vehicles. They have been in business for a very long time, I know 7 of the employees and technicians have been there for over 20 year, some for over 30, and 3 for 40. Good luck finding that anywhere! They are committed to fair and honest pricing and consistent repairs. It is unfortunate there are a few ridiculous negative reviews. The negative reviews are bogus. Severna Park Automotive is hands down the best place to have your car repaired honestly for reasonable costs.

Ive been taking my cars to Severna Park Automotive for over ten years. Ive had a wide spectrum of work done to five different cars, including brakes, mufflers, timing belts, tires, spark plugs, various sensors, alignment, and the list goes on. Their prices are reasonable and the work is always well executed. What I like most is their honesty when it comes to diagnostics. I know quite a bit about cars and they never try to pull the wool over my eyes, which I appreciate. The owner, Lonny, is great to work with.

I just moved to Arnold Oct 2015 and did not know where to take my 1974 Vette. I saw their shop and took it there. Wonderful staff, they did Wonderful service on my power steering (it all had to be replaced). I have a truck too and I will be going there for all my auto needs.

Echo what the previous reviewers have said: this is the only facility I use for my familys vehicles. The work is well-done and prompt; the prices are fair; the staff always explains what work needs to be performed in simple English, and never adds on unnecessary repairs.

Dont ever take your car here. They vastly overcarge for every repair and will take any opportunity to get your money. We have tried to get a state inspection done here, and 180 dollars later, still no tags on our car.
