Delicious food - great service. I visit their Eastport location 2 x a week and select from the gourmet-to-go refrigerated showcase, and/or hot soups. Can we talk? Portioned sized ginger-glazed salmon, wonderfully marinated then grilled-just-perfect beef strips, tender blackened chicken - all of it incredible. Vegetables (either with a combination of pasta or couscous, or straight), and bean dishes equally succulent. Favorite vegetable dishes include a baked vegetable medley with mushrooms and spinach, and a black bean recipe with red onion, peppers, cilantro, with just the right amount of (what has got to be) cold-pressed quality olive oil. The desserts are equally as good. The carrot cake is to-die-for (TDF). I could not finish this review without mentioning their crab cakes. Hello . . . from Baltimore to Ocean City I’ve had them all (a self-certified crab cake aficionado). The taste of the Palate Pleasers crab cake is unparalleled. No, I get the ones out of their refrigerated showcase, not hot out of the oven (although if you are catering I’m sure you get them hot), but the taste is unparalleled. I ask them for the recipe, but they insist its the quality of their crabmeat and ingredients that makes difference. If you get the crab cakes (know that they are not served everyday - probably a good thing), please don’t embarrass yourself and ask for cocktail or tarter sauce. Yes- they are that good.

We placed our wedding cake order in January for an April wedding. We went in, had a tasting, decided on a design, and left a deposit. Three weeks before the wedding we called to confirm that all was in order. They didnt know what we were talking about. Apparently the guy who took our order had left the company and they didnt look through his order book. My husband became upset but everything was finally smoothed over. He even gave the delivery lady a healthy tip. As the cake was being served we found a note that said "God help the new Mrs. ...". I asked for an apology for my husband and never received one. Apparently they had once put a note in a cake for two men that said "God save the queen." That info was given to me by the manager. And yes, we paid full price for the cake. The cake was great, too bad I will never go back or recommend a company with such poor business practices.

An AMAZING WEDDING! Thank you to the Palate Pleasers so much - the food and service was above 5 Star! The servers were exceptionally professional. Everything was on time and on (even under) budget. Absolutely delicious food! My wife and I could not have been happier. Compliments: "Wedding cake normally doesnt taste that good, yours was delicious!" "The steak was delivered a perfect medium rare - it was right off the grill?" "Who made that crab cake? Wow!" It goes on... Palate Pleasers appears to be a small operation in Annapolis - do not be confused - they provided phenomenal food and service to our large wedding. We are ecstatic that we made the right choice. They were able to meet very specific dietary/allergy needs respectfully and deliciously. Cant thank Sally and Amy enough for making our wedding that much sweeter. Several attendees said it was the best catered food they had ever had. Rockfish cakes, chicken breast, and marinated flank steak along with so very much more. Love them!

I love this place! They catered my husbands 40th birthday party and it was wonderful. Delicious food, great service, elegant presentation. We also go there all the time for lunch and the selection for carry out is outstanding. Love their fajita chicken sandwhich, any of the paninis, and you cant beat their soup on a cold day.

Working with Sally and Bobbi is a dream come true! They make every event a deliciously, wonderful one. Their staff is professional, courteous and helpful and their food is out of this world. I would recommend them for any event, large or small! Keep up the great work ladies!

We have been to MANY events catered by this company. I used them for my husbands 60th birthday party last year and HURRAH, we are having them for mine this year! I cant wait! The food and the gals who came to take care of the food, serving, cleaning up, etc. were awesome!
