Total RipOff. Went there for a valentine dinner. Promptly arrived for belly dancing show at 9PM on Friday which was one of the main reasons we went there. Waitress gave us the menu which was made specially for Valentine and it was made to rip off valentine days customers: $90 for a four course meal for a couple. Initially I said okay, I mean its valentine day so its fine and hoped that the food would live up to the expectations which were high due to high number of positive reviews they got. But disappointment just started: first the main reason we chose this restaurant over others was due to the belly dancing show but that just went for 5-10 mins only before belly dancer moved over to the lounge on second floor. Upon asking waitress whether she gonna come back she said no its just a complimentary show that is just for 20 mins or so. Note that no where on their website stated the length of the show and also about special pricey valentine dinner. Waitress said that four course meal they are offering is a deal but it was just a total ripoff. Me and my wife were totally disappointed with the food and the ambiance itself. After we were done with the food and the show, to add to our disappointment they didnt even honored our Groupon saying that they dont take Groupons on holidays. I mean where in world Valentine day is considered to be a holiday, it can be a special occasion. All in all it was total disappointment for us, I dont know how they got so many positive reviews.

visited this past friday with a reservation for 9, first issue I tell the hostess im here for my reservation (which was confirmed 3 times, twice by email and once by phone) and she leads me up to a table full of people. She asks are these your friends I said no she goes "well thats your table" . Ummmm WTF lady I dont know these people. She goes on to tell me my reservation was taken by another party of nine! So she goes to get the manager...no better! He is clueless! So my party is here and we really wanted to try this place so we stuck around. After waiting nearly an hour we finally get seated..With the waiter from HELL! This man was very rude! He made my sisters drink twice and when she says on no I already have my drink he looks at her and ask So you want me to pour it out? She saus I only ordered 1 , which I have here. Next up the food! It took an hour to get our food and it was DISGUSTING! VERY BLAND and cold! After eating I felt as though I was drugged! I couldnt see and I was dizzy. Next up the belly dancer! TERRIBLE with a flabby belly! I mean we couldve done better she was WACK! If you can please AVOID this place save your time and money!

We got the combination dinner for two. The cold appetizers ( 6 in total) were great and we specifically told the server that we did not want our main course until we finished the appetizers. We werent even half way finished then the server shows up with the main course which consisted of 8 different types of meat. We declined the course. When we finished the appetizers we received our main course and it was the same one that we had declined a half hour earlier. It was terrible. The meat was dry and chewy, the shish kabob veggies were soft and runny. I guess the mystery meat was chicken. The lamb was chewy and tasteless. The shrimp was overcooked. We should have known when we first showed up 10 minutes early for our reservation, they wanted to have us go upstairs to eat where it was dark and lonely (we would have been the only people up there). We asked to be seated in the main restaurant. They said it would be 10 minutes wait. You get the picture. We only ate about 10% of the main course . We complained and they discounted the bill by 15%. We didnt even take the leftovers. We will not go back.

Belly dancer was pretty good. Service was confused and bad but friendly. Food was authentic Turkish just like I had when I lived there with the exception of the breads which were different. All the great flavors I remember were there except for the breads. I went with two friends and it was $125 which is not bad but it took forever to get cunife which is the primary reason for my going there. Actually, the Cunife was worth the trip. Quite good. I had hoped to order in Turkish and impress my friends but as four members of the wait staff took turns at random asking if we needed something I realized none of them are actually Turks. Apparently the chef is Turkish though as our waiter told us the "Turkish" chef told him the bread was 1000% pide. (not pide but still good bread) :-) the same waiter told us later that he was going to confront the chef about pide but the chef was already drunk. SRSLY?? How in the world did that chef make me such an amazing cunife? Whatever. I wont go back for a big dinner but if I get the craving for some Turkish food, Ill call ahead and see if they have take away.

My fiancée and I went there to celebrate, and while nothing terrible happened, it disappointed us both. For over $100 we had a nice bottle of wine and two bland fixed price dinners. Service was hit and miss. We made reservations earlier that day, but had to wait quite a while for a new table to open up. We were offered to share a table with another couple in the upstairs area, something we probably should have done. The main seating area is small. The food was nothing special, you would do better in a take-out place. We were told at one point that there was belly dancing upstairs next door, popped over but quickly came back. Im sure she was fine, if you had a table instead of standing around awkwardly with the crowd by the bar. I had bee looking forward to coming here for over a year, as I usually really enjoy Turkish food as well as the ambiance. But this was just a disappointment. The food or the coffee could have easily made up for early issues, but they fell flat.

Went there tonight because I LOVE turkish, greek, & mediterranean food. The service was very good. The glass of water was filled promptly. The problem was that the chicken kebab that I ordered had several pieces of raw chicken. Im writing this review about 5 hours after eating the raw chicken (by accident) and I didnt get sick from it (yet) but its not a good thing when you bite into raw chicken. IN addition, even if the chicken was properly cooked, it wasnt very tasty. It was really bland. The mezze were really good though. We had the hummus, egglplant with yogurt, and another eggplant with tomatoes and pomegranate. The pita was good, but they charge extra for extra pita too! Not really a place I would recommend, unless you go only for the mezze.

We tried the hummus, spinach and artichoke dip, ezme, yogurt and beet salad, dumplings, moussaka, fries with yummy yummy sauce and dessert sampler. There were no disappointments; every dish was satisfying. The appetizers were served with a basket of warm soft white bread that was generously refilled. The homemade yogurt drink was tangy and savory and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet; it was such a relief to actually be able to hear each other talk. Our server was quick to recommend when we asked for advice and his suggestions were solid. Were not experts but it seemed authentic and unique.
