Biddle St did a fantastic job catering our wedding!!! From our first visit until our last payment, every representative of Biddle St showed remarkable flexibility, professionalism and interest in our desires. For example, we called them one weekend when we were looking for venues and happened to drive by their location to see if they could see us that day. (We had known from a family friend who used them extensively, that they were excellent). The owner was very flexible and told us he would meet with us whenever we were ready. We knew we wanted a gluten free and vegetarian wedding and that this was a tall order for any caterer. Biddle St was the only ones in Baltimore (we also saw Classic Catering, Zeffert & Gold, Absolutely Perfect) who took on this challenge with grace. Biddle St was empathetic and respectful about the requirement and absolutely perfect about doing it. They worked with us to create a fabulous menu. At no charge, they prepared a lavish "tasting menu" for us and sent us home with leftovers that enjoyed eating for the next three days. (By contrast, we went to several other highly acclaimed caterers and had a very different experience). Even though our date wasnt far off, Biddle St also never pressured us to make a decision to go with them. Given the delicious food and that top-noched service, we were delighted to find that they were the most affordable by far. After our wedding, many guests commented on how delicious the food including many who could eat gluten and had no idea that it was gluten free. Biddle Sts gluten free recipes were so delicious that we had them deliver baked goods to our rehearsal dinner site. They were happy to fulfill this request and did so at a bargain basement price. In the days leading up to our wedding, Biddle St was attentive to all of our needs including many that were not caterer related. At our wedding, Biddles Sts representative completely on the ball and were attentive to many needs that went beyond the responsibilities in our contract. Overall, they made the final days before the wedding day itself a lot less stressful than it would have been. We would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

Despite living in NYC, my wife and I are from Maryland. We decided to have our wedding there for the ease of our family, and for financial reasons. We did several tastings around Maryland and got quotes from even more places. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding can tell you that people come out of the woodwork with suggestions, offers, and so on. Even more exasperating (certainly for my wife) is that I am the manager and beverage director of a well-know NYC restaurant and we are constantly dining at some of the best restaurants. We had high standards. From the moment I bit into that first crab cake at the tasting, I knew we were done looking. We had three dinner buffet stations at our reception, including a BBQ table. The food . . . was . . . nuts. Unbelievable from top to bottom. We even had a sundae bar for dessert! They got us Gummi Bears! Okay enough exclamation points. The gist is: we had DOZENS of people tell us it was the best food theyve ever had at a wedding. The staff was great, the cake was both beautiful AND delicious, I mean . . . it couldnt have been better. We had Pam, just for reference purposes, and I would highly encourage people to set up an appointment and taste the food. It impressed the hell out of us Maryland ex-pats, now NYC snobs. : - )

Our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah was on April 12, 2014. We had never planned an event so large (not even our own wedding) and really had absolutely no idea what we were doing. We knew that we needed to meet with caterers and so we started doing so two years before the event. We met some great people, tasted some great food, but none of that mattered when we met Ginny at Biddle Street Caterers. The food was incredible, but Ginny is what made the package complete. She is incredibly kind, patient, and helped us every step of the way. We had a zillion questions and she answered every single one. When we got nervous, she calmed our nerves. The night of the party, I will never forget walking into the event and seeing my vision. I had worried for so many nights and I didn’t need to. Ginny and her team put it together perfectly. From start to finish, the event was incredible. Our guests had an amazing time, the food was delicious, and Ginny always checked in to make sure we were o.k. Hands down, this team is over the top amazing. We are already relaxed thinking about the fact that we don’t need to worry in a few years when it is time for our son’s Bar Mitzvah….Biddle Street, we will be back. Thank you so much.

Jill - Feb 10, 2012 - Biddle came highly recommended from close personal friends whose events they catered and I enjoyed. Working with Pam, she took my theme of "The Real Housewives" and helped me create a really fun bridal shower for my daughter! She put a lot of thought into the theme and came up with some clever signage and decorations that just were great. The menu was themed as well and was delicious and plentiful. Her 2 assistants for the day were very professional and courteous and couldnt go out of their way to offer help. We even had the owner stop by at the last minute to help with a stubborn prop that was a key decoration. He fixed it in no time. Ironically a lot of my guests were from Baltimore and were surprised that I would choose a caterer not close to my home. All the guests just raved about the shower and my daughter was so surprised and pleased. I hope I get the opportunity to have them caterer another event for me in the future.

I couldnt have been more please with our experience with Biddle Street Catering. We used them for our July wedding in Baltimore. Working with Pam was so comforting, she made everything feel so easy. We held a DIY and Pam and her crew took a lot of stress off and set up everything in the venue for us. We held a more casual affair for our wedding and served a "heavy hors dourves" dinner with a Baltimore feel, great crab cakes! The food was amazing and our guests are still talking about the menu! The staff working the event were friendly and very helpful. I would absolutely go to Biddle Street again for our catering needs.

Thank you to Biddle Street Caterers for the SPECTACULAR food at Sara Rudos Bat Mitzvah on August 23, 2014. Not only was everything delicious, but the presentation was so much fun--hot dogs from a hot dog cart; stir fry in chinese carryout containers- the food helped set the tone and helped make the Bat Mitzvah the fun event we wanted it to be. The kids loved it. My friends have been talking about the min-rubens for 2 days now; the crab dip was beyond delicious. Ginny, your expertise and had work made Saras event a real stand out. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I give Biddle Street Catering 10 STARS!!!
