Love love love Ruby Salon! JP has been my stylist for about 6 years, and he works "magic" on my hair. I have never had such healthy hair (thanks to his product recommendations) and such great hair color thanks to his talent. And the salon is so conveniently located and has the most courteous and fun team - from the owners to the receptionist to the shampoo girls. Its a pleasant experience every time I go in for an appointment. And...on top of being a great place for hair services, Ruby Salon is very dedicated to "giving back" to the community. Youll find members of their team volunteering their hair cutting services for a St. Baldricks fundraiser, donating gift certificates to local charity auctions, volunteering their time as hosts of an arts organization awareness event, serving as a co-host/committee member for a special womens event to benefit a local historic organization and more. Seems they care just as much about running a successful business and making their customers happy as they do about making the Annapolis community a better place to live and work! The Ruby Salon team rocks!!!

I had a great experience at Ruby Salon. I called for a price estimate on how much it would cost to go pink and they gave me a reasonable range so I made an appointment with Brooke. When I entered the salon I was greeted and it looked very clean. Brooke came right away to meet me and was very nice and friendly. We discussed what I wanted done (to dye my head completely pink). She was very concerned on how the bleach would react with my hair and made it very clear she cared more about the integrity of my hair then the color. I completely agreed as its been a long journey on growing my hair. The music was classic rock which was amazing to listen to my favorite songs as I sat in the chair. My experience was great, not only Brooke was very nice but all of the other staff were as well. I have been getting so many compliments on my new hair color and I am in love with it. I will be returning to get the pink touched up. I have already recommended this salon to other people and its a great location being right near main street in downtown Annapolis where you can shop or get a bite to eat.

I have been going to Ruby Salon since 2006, so I have been going there for 7 years now and havent let anyone else touch my hair since, obviously I am more then happy! - I would have probably been a customer there earlier but I lived in San Diego. A friend recommended the Salon when I was looking for a place in Annapolis and I have been going there ever since. Kelly Fisher is my stylist and she is amazing! She does the most amazing color and cuts and I always have fun chatting with her. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and Courtney, who is the first face you see when you walk in is so sweet and helpful! I just love everyone there. Kelly Fisher did my hair, my bridesmaids hair, and my moms hair at my wedding in 2010! I have recommended friends and family there and my mom goes to Ruby Salon as well! I would highly recommend Ruby Salon to anyone!

I was blonde when I was young, but the older I got the darker my hair became. Over the years I have been to many colorists trying to get back to the "natural" blonde look but was never really thrilled with the results. I was referred to Steven Fisher by a co-worker and a neighbor while Ruby was still under construction.. He is by far the best colorist I have ever been to. The process he uses leaves the color looking like it was naturally bleached by the sun. And did I mention the haircuts? After Steven cuts my hair it just flows, I dont know how else to describe it. JP has cut my daughters hair and she looked absolutely adorable afterwards. I would highly recommend either of them if you are looking for a stylish and manageable haircut. And definitely see Steven if you want to be natural blonde again!

My first visit to this salon was such a wonderful experience! After a AWFUL experience at another salon, they provided me with the hair rescue that i needed. The stylist did a great job and made sure to protect my hair and not let it be damaged. Now, the second time i went for a return visit, it was a huge let down. I basically left paying for a cut and color, but only really got a cut. The color wasnt what i really wanted and it all washed out and returned to the normal color within 1 day. Not sure id come back or recommend anyone to go here. Have yet to find a quality salon in Annapolis...the search continues

Not only is the environment and entire staff friendly and inviting, all the stylists are top-rate, super creative and always up-to-date on the latest styles and techniques. Ruby Salon is New York talent with an Annapolis neighborhood feel. I love that they are always introducing new products and styling solutions. I have been a client of Steves for over 10 years. Not only is he an amazing stylist & colorist, he listens to the my ideas & works with me to get the result I want. I always leave feeling and looking better then when I arrived.

Ruby Salon is staffed with the most talented, friendly and reliable hairdressers and front desk people. I just recently made the change to this salon and I am SO glad that I did. My hair looks fantastic, not just for a few days but for the full 6 weeks before its time to go back for my next cut/color. I dont think that Ive ever had a stylist as talented and creative as Kelly and I can assure you that Ill be a lifer at this salon. Now that Ive finally found a place where the folks know how to cut short hair and do fantastic color! And they listen to you!!!!!! worth every penny!!!

You know when you go to certain salons and they treat you as if youre the most important person at the salon? Thats the treatment Ive received everytime Ive gone to Ruby Salon. I was referred to JP by a friend of mine and have enjoyed every visit to this Salon. I normally am very particular about who cuts my hair; barbershops tend to butcher my head and then tell me its my fault I wasnt clear enough from the beginning! The staff is very friendly and JP is very intuitive, knowing what I want with very little instruction. I wish all salons were as great as Ruby Salon!

I just moved out from texas and i was having very hard time to find a good hair salon. i colored my hair here today and i was not this happy ever !!Thank you so much Halie to make my hair looks this awesome! My friends and my sister, everyone loved it so much. The entire place and staff looks nice & helpful. I took the chance just seeing the rating and reviews. And i dont REGRET! Thank you so much Halie. i am coming back with my sister in couple of week again for her!. I had never reviewed any place but i just cant stop myself today. Great job Halie !
