Worst hair cut experience of my entire life. My stylist clearly had no idea what she was doing so much to the point where she asked another hair dresser to step in and eventually finish my haircut because of how "bad" the layers looked. Then when my original stylist felt knowledgeable enough to continue helping me when it was time to blow dry my hair, she mentions that it will actually be $10 more than what she originally told me due to my hair length. I understand this is Hair Cutterys policy and the business really should label that, but my hair dresser said to me explicitly that it would be $24 for my haircut including a blowdry, not $34. I have never felt so insulted and worried about my hair in any previous hair cutting experience, and to top it off I left with a wet head because along with not knowing how to cut hair, my stylist also didnt know how much her own place of work charges for her services.

Did not appreciate being told as my daughter was sitting in the chair with her hair wet that since her hair is longer than her shoulder its $10 more for drying. It is not advertised anywhere or explained at the check in kiosk. I selected " wash, cut and dry" and there was no additional explanation of fees on there. Plus, clearly the stylist saw that her hair was long to begin with! To add to it, overall the stylist was rough in her manner of washing and brushing. Make sure you clarify prior to them beginning, even if you specified correctly in there check in kiosk how much this is going to cost you.

As in any salon, it depends on which hairdresser you get and what you want done. I usually get a cut and highlight for which I really like Mandy. On a pinch I have used several others and they are all talented, no disasters. My daughter has used three others there and almost always loves the result. Once or twice there was a new employee who did a color or cut job that was poor, but most of the ones there are great. And they did their best to correct the issue at no charge. I recommend getting an appointment, or walking in at off times because they are fairly popular. Hope this helps.

Laura fixed my hair after a really bad haircut, shes awesome. I went to the other Hair Cuttery in Owen Brown and got a horrible haircut where the lady blatantly didnt cut part of my hair, and the hair she did cut was uneven. I didnt realize how bad it was until I already went home. However, Laura immediately came to the rescue and made it much better (although inevitably a bit short because thats what there was to work with) free of charge. I will be coming back.

I have had my highlights done in different countries and different states for 15 years, but this was THE BEST Ive had so far. Mandi was Amazing!!! I went there to fix my highlights that were poorly done by another salon (very poorly) and Mandi did an amazing job fixing them. They now look much better than ever before.. Highly recommend. Judy was fantastic! I requested trim with No shampoo (allergic) and I have long hair! She managed it very well. Went around trimming probably 5 times. My hair was pretty horrible, tangles every brush through and all split ends! She didnt cut off length but did a great job straightening and trimming! She didnt talk much but it was totally worth the great haircut!! No wait and clean place.

My last experience here was a really bad one where my hair was cut to nose length when I was going for chin length. I was afterwards really ticked off and spent the next few months in embarrassment as I wanted my long hair back and had to re-live awkward phase.

Mandi is AMAZING!! I paid up to 300 dollars at other salons for just OK highlights and paid a fraction of the price at this salon for hair that I LOVE. She did a great job with my blonde highlights and trimmed my hair as I asked. Great experience!
