I have no issues with the stylists, they always do a great job. That being said, good luck actually getting in to see one. Stylists that took appointments one month cant take them the next, meaning youre likely to get your haircut from an unfamiliar stylist every time you come in. I probably cant fault this specific location for this issue, a decision this counterproductive reeks of corporate involvement where such decisions are made with little to no actual knowledge of what goes on inside the four walls of one of their own locations. Also, the place seems to be chronically understaffed which likely IS a location specific issue. Trying to get a walk-in spot is a crap shoot, they dont appear to have sufficient staff dedicated to walk-ins, even at peak times, despite the frequent inability to make an appointment with your stylist(s) of choice. As I type this I am sitting in their waiting area as part of my second attempt at a haircut this week, last month it took four tries. Ive been sitting here for 40 minutes, which is how long I was told the wait would be. The stylist is just starting on the cut before mine, so Im looking at an hour wait, minimum, to get a haircut from the third different stylist in three months. Two walk-ins have already been turned away. Management here is clearly incapable of creating a working schedule. Too bad the stylists have to pay for it. If I even manage to get in tonight this will be my last time here. I can no longer justify the multiple attempts and long wait times necessary to get a haircut, usually from someone who has never cut my hair while the stylists who have cut it for the past several years and know my preferences remain, for the most part, unavailable.

Very rude and unbusinesslike. I walked into this location and although the stylists looked up, they didnt acknowledge my presence. I waited 15 minutes for them to finish with a customer. When the stylist finished and took them to the register, she chatted with them for another 5 minutes (still didnt acknowledge my presence) about how they could win baseball tickets. At this time, I was the only person waiting, therefore you would think I was next. Wrong. She brought me to the register to take my information, a few more people walked in. She told me it would be another 20 minutes! I should have been first! I have called the main Hair Cuttery number and i am waiting for the district manager to call me about this location. However, I will NEVER go back to this location.

WALK IN. HAHA. I showed up at 5:30 and I was told it would be a 1 hour wait. No big deal, I came back in an hour. Sat down and waited for another half an hour. I realized they had taken people that just walked in before me. I asked how much longer because at this point I already wasted 1 1/2 hours for a hair cut. The same lady that signed me in said well its at least going to be another half hour. At that point I walked out and said see ya. They need to hire more people or learn how to read a sign in sheet. I will not be going there ever again. The hair hut in hanover is a great place and will be getting my business.

I continue to come back here every month to get my hair cut and styled. I have only had one bad experience with one of the stylists, but she isnt there anymore. I now trust 2 stylists who do a great job each time. They are warm and welcoming. Prices are good too.

Now that my stylist can no longer take appointments, I am on my 4th attempt to coordinate my cut with her. If this one doesnt work, they have lost a regular client.
