I never wrote a negative review because I have never been in a situation like this in my life, was Sunday and I have to find a place to just cut my hair and dye it... so I can have a even color for a event I have next day, I went to this hair salon just because was close to where I live, this person cut some of my hair before the color, after that she apply the color, I can feel my scalp burning, when I tell the hairdresser that I was in pain, she put some cold water and tell me that may be because I shampoo my hair the day before or the same day, I was maybe 25 or 30 min suffering, finally when I was about to have the blow dry we notice that my hair have 3 different colors was orange on the root brown on the middle and light brown at the end, I couldnt believe what happen so I took some pictures... it look really bad, the manager try to fix what happened and she put a dark color on top. I was in so much pain and I had to go true the same process again, at the end my hair was black and I was really mad, The next day my scalp was itching intensely, I now have about a dozen small burns which have formed scabs on my scalp and they are really sore. I went to see a doctor friend I have and he give me some pain killers and recommend me to take Benadryl and cortisone cream I really hope this pain goes away pretty soon, I would never go to this hair cutter or any other ever or recommend it to anybody, the manager can care less about what happen I went back to show her how bad it was and she look at it and tell me that it was nothing not even apologize bout what happen, really sad

Ive gone here a number of times now, and been very happy with it. I have really curly hair, and I always go to Su. She always listens to what I want to have done and clearly understands what I ask for and understands curly hair! I went in one time and asked her to take off 4 inches, she tried to convince me 3 would be better, but I insisted on 4. Yeah, she was right. Good thing hair grows back out! She always triple checks to make sure my hair is the same length after she cuts it and it starts to curl as it dries. Oh one other nice note - this place is REALLY good about not trying to push the products they sell on you. They let you know about sales once while you are there, but other than that, no one keeps trying to convince that you just cant do without some expensive hair goop.

Ive been to this salon several times for trims and such, and had some great experiences with other hair trimmings; however I went in to get my bangs trimmed and some layers added and came out with NO layers, NO Ends trimmed, and my long side swept bangs were now SHORT (above my eyebrow), and Blunt Across my whole face. To make matters, even more aggravating I had a picture...and I asked her once she started cutting if they would still lay to the side, and said I just needed the bangs I had trimmed. Remember...You get what you pay for.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Kim cut my hair, really really easy base cut with long layers framing face. Maybe she cant understand English well because she started cutting layers through all of my hair. It looks absolutely awful-uneven, choppy and the one side is obviously higher than the other. Best part is when I went back in to see if they could fix it, the "stylists" all told me that I was wrong and that there was nothing they could do to fix it. Would not even issue a refund.

I actually loved this Hair Cuttery. I use to spend 250 getting my hair cut and colored and now I go here and spend $100 and its just the same. You need to make sure you ask for Salwa when getting your hair colored ... shes the best and really takes her time. In this economy it was nice to find a place that does a great job and saves me money :) Its a hair cuttery so its not as relaxing as a spa but youll save some money!

Perhaps its my fault for going to a Hair Cuttery in the first place for anything but a cut, but I went to get highlights done. When she was done (I forget her name.. Magda maybe?), it looked like they had been done 3 months ago. When I told her I was unhappy, she replied with "thats the closest I could get without damaging your scalp." Which was funny, because some of the other highlights she did were much closer.

For the money, its a great place to go. The staff are friendly and professional. They took their time and didnt rush me through and ensured there werent any missed spots or crooked lines. If youre a guy and you need a decent haircut, this is a great place.

I thought I got lucky with the first lady who did my hair then one time I unexpectedly came in for a trim and she was off-- another lady did my hair and did a superb job!

I take my 3 year old son here. The stylists are great and very friendly and nice to him. He gets a great cheap haircut and a lollipop.

They keep bumping up the price for worse quality cuts. Most of the staff are unfriendly and barely understand English
