My experience with Premier Learning Center has been nauseating and disappointing, to say the least. Long story short if youre not interested in the below, I am in the process of reporting them to Social Services for physical and emotional neglect. From being left in dirty diapers and causing physical injury, to playing outside in 32 weather with no more than a tshirt and windbreaker on (we sent him to school with snowbibs, a sweater and a lined jacket to which the liner had been removed) this facility should not be in business & if youre considering sending your child here RECONSIDER. Our child was left in a dirty diaper for so long that he was left with a grapefruit sized welt on his inner thigh and walked much like a cowboy for three days following the incident. Just recently, the after school care got crafty with how they placed diapers on. My guess is they were placing our sons diaper on while he was standing, nonetheless the diaper was on backwards. When we brought this to the attention of the director, we were asked to pick our son up, as well as his things as this was his last day. When confronted with neglect, the owner of this facility simply said sorry our facility is not a good fit for your family - I wonder if she likes to wear her underwear backwards. We werent asking for anything other than basic care, hygiene and comfort for our child. We didnt ask them to buy the bloody diapers. We didnt ask for anything other than basic care. Frankly, Im glad he is no longer in their care -- just want to do my due diligence and let any family considering this facility know what youre getting into and that you may want to reconsider. Im heartbroken that I ever exposed my child to this facility in the first place.

I cant say enough wonderful things about this pre-school. When my son transitioned from an in-home daycare more than a year ago to preschool, he blossomed overnight in the "green room." The facility is extremely clean, spacious, organized, and fun for the kids both indoors and outdoors on the beautiful playground and spacious grounds. The curriculum is forward leaning and thoughtful with the childs development in mind. The teachers are caring, supportive, and constructive. I feel confident every day when I drop my son off at his school that he will have a great day with a wonderful team of people in his classroom and his front office to support him every step of the way. I would encourage any parent thinking of moving their child into preschool to strongly consider PLC. It has become a safe and caring learning environment for my son and I look forward to when my daughter is old enough to move into the "yellow room." From the friday pony rides, to the community events and pasta parties to celebrate the new school year, PLC encourages an enriching environment for families and the little people entrusted in their care.

My son LOVES this school! He is in a small class, where he gets much attention & learns while having fun! He knows his teacher loves him, likes his work, & wants him to try his best. He has made so many new friends! This is just what he needed, socially & academically. Who knew there was a boogie down song to learn the days of the week?! Extra effort in lesson plans evident: paper ginger bread houses, class construction of house (gumdrops, frosting, etc), with houses proudly on display in the office, paper ones in the hallway. "R" weeks culminating project: building & painting a race car! On the weekends, he misses his school, his teacher, & his friends..."Can I go to school today? Please mommy?" PREMIER does all the "fun" things (paint, use scissors, measure & stir cooking projects, shaving cream play, etc). He has learned so much this school year & after visiting some kindergarten open houses, we are confident that he is prepared, academically & socially. Thank you PREMIER LEARNING CENTER!

I sent my child here for one week. He loves his preschool but I needed care for the summer. He hated this place. I saw NO EFFORT on the part of the staff or owners to engage him, to bring him in to the community of the day care. One day when I came to pick him up, I saw from the parking lot that he was just wandering around the playground (during the 20 minutes of outside time) crying by himself. The teachers were sitting in plastic chairs, not even noticing that he needed help. When I asked the staff to help him they just gave him candy or pencils, no hugs and help. The school work they do is just filling out worksheets--no real learning. I pulled my child after only one week and will never send him back. The bathrooms were not clean (observed during a scheduled tour, so youd think theyd be extra clean) either.

Thank you, thank you and thank you to the staff and teachers at Premier! Both of my children attended the 3 and 4 year old programs. They are now in 1st and 2nd grade at Davidsonville Elem. They both received the highest marks possible on their report cards again!! My children were so prepared when they entered Kindergarten. The hands on learning projects Mrs. McGirt was always doing has left a lasting impression on my kids. It is so wonderful as a parent to know that I made the perfect choice for preschool. Premier gave my children a loving, caring and educational environment and fed their thirst for knowledge.
