Our child was in the infant room for a week. We liked the caretakers, but the director/owner seemed particularly antagonistic. In our case, I had labeled separate bags for clean vs. dirty things (e.g., clean nipples, dirty nipples, dirty bottles, dirty clothes), which I had thought would be easier for the caretakers. Throughout the week, this seemed to work well, with no problems. At the end of the week, I came in to pick up my daughter, was chatting with the ladies and the director, then packed up and placed my girl in the carseat. Suddenly, the director demanded, "Come here." I set down our bags and went over to her, then she said, "My girls do NOT have TIME to be putting all your little things into all your little bags." She repeated this five times. (By the way, I speak perfect English with no accent.) I felt like she was trying to bully me into submission, which was completely unnecessary. If someone had just asked, "Is it okay to just put all of the dirty things into one bag?", I would have totally been fine with it -- I definitely wasnt trying to make more work for the caretakers. However, no one had mentioned anything to me all week, so this confrontation came out of the blue. As a parent, I expect at least some respect from someone that my child would be looking up to as a rolemodel, and I was very surprised and dismayed at the directors unprofessional and demeaning tone. There were some other smaller things, too. For example, I asked about a form that wed tried to fill out on the website, and the director/owner said very shortly, "Oh, its broken." I asked a few days later if the website had been fixed, and she seemed to get very offended, saying, "What are you talking about? Its not broken." Also, the manual mentioned sign-in sheets, but no one seemed to check any sign-in sheets, and no one ever told us to sign our daughter in or out. We were worried because none of the caretakers had gotten a flu vaccine, and our daughter would have been less than six months old, so the flu couldve been particularly dangerous. We do have several friends who enjoy this center, and its very cost-efficient, especially for twelve hours of care a day in Baltimore. Finding a good daycare always seems to be tricky, so make sure to find one thats a good fit for your family.

I actually never had a chance to enroll my son in the 2 year old room. I spoke to the director on the phone and made an appointment for next monday, but since I was in the area checking out other daycares I thought I would drop by being that they are closed tomorrow and she knew my need was immediate. I showed up, son in my arms, and she opens the door with a what do you want look, I explained the situation and she said no!! She was extremely RUDE and said thats why we make appointments Im not doing tours right now!!! First of all theres better ways of relaying a no in customer service, and secondly you just lost business because of her attitude. Ill take my 1200 a month elsewhere because of it. Thanks but no thanks!!!!!! Cant imagine how she is when you actually sign up, what a witch!

An innocent 8 month old baby was tortured to death at this center. The owner and the vicious creature charged with the babys murder are ultimately responsible. Someone in that establishment should have took notice. Im pretty sure if this staff-abuser-murderer went unnoticed, how many more staff did as well. Keep your children far away from this daycare and its staff. And please legal system, do not allow the owner to re-open this place of torture...

Rocket Tiers is a home away from home for my daughter. The staff are wonderful, compassionate, positive, experienced, professional and very caring. The facility is clean and the early childhood education instruction is wonderful. My daughter is learning so much academically and socially. I am so grateful to Rocket Tiers and highly recommend! A new mom!

Wish I could give a zero. Murderers. Shame on the woman and shame on the higher ups for not supervising staff. You are sickening.

Considering one of the staff just violently murdered a defenseless 8 month old child, Id say the palce and staff are terrible.

Awful. The director, Ms. Terry, was defensive and rude and my child was unhappy. I was thrilled to be done with them.
