My son has been in the Pre-K classroom for about two months, and he LOVES it. The school is extremely active, they do a different activity/theme virtually everyday and they really engage the children in these different activities. In the first 4 weeks they had a moon bounce come, zoo and wildlife animals, as well as magicians and musicians. I believe things like this are very important as children learn much more from hands on experience and with children this age social development is just as important as academic development. But this area is good also at La Petite in that he writes everyday, learns new vocabulary, and there is such a large focus on art! My only issue would be probably the menus, and since you do not have an option to bring lunch (unless for a food allergy) it kind of limits your options on dealing with food that your child (or you) does not enjoy. The teachers might lack the educational merits of some other centers, but literally every one of them is so caring about my son and the other kids. It has a diverse student body as well! Just a great center, worth the money!

I became a first time mom to my beloved rainbow baby at 45 so I checked into *everything* for him very carefully. I loved this center from my first tour. Ive had to (okay chosen to) delay starting twice but each & every interaction has been both exceptionally pleasant & completely professional. When I went back to work for a few days my baby was home with dad, he quickly learned my schedule & would get fussy just before I left - not a good way to separate. But every day leaving him a La Petite I get to hear his happy gurgle as I depart. You cant put a price on that. And today, as I was leaving Ms. V left me with "Thank you for letting us care for your child" Wha-at?! Not planning on going anywhere!

Having had a kid there for several months, I must say that the staff there is friendly and very nice but thats about it. The kids are only occasionally outside playing during the winter. The food there is unfortunately sub standard and there is limited will to make any changes to the menu, perhaps due to corporate policies. The kids get heavily processed food, canned fruits, cookies and snacks with lots of sugar and salt. I would not recommend this school to anybody that has any interest in giving their kid a healthy nutritious meal during the day. Do yourself a favor and avoid La Petite.

My child was very well prepared for kindergarten after three years at La Petite. SHe made wonderful friends here, and all of her teachers sincerely cared about her and her well-being. The staff is very loving and professional, and there is very low staff utrn over. The staff are well prepared and trained in the developmental needs of the children that they teach. We continue to have a great experience there with a child in the early preschool program.

My son started at La Petite at 6 weeks and it has been such an easy transition back to work. The staff and teachers there are so warm with my son and it really makes me feel at ease when I leave him in the morning. He is 4 months now and I love that I receive a daily progress report that tells me about his day.
