Lost my package & not very proactive, or customer oriented at all. I had to make sure I was calling the Post Office because the person answering said hello as if it werent an official government entity. Apparently their policy is to leave your packages on the door step although Im in a multi unit building when you dont answer the door. Well I waited all that day no on ever buzzed or left any indication of a delivery. Once I tracked my order online and it said delivered, I presumed it meant delivered the UPS not to me. I called to verify and was told to wait another day, that was delivered to the USPS. However that was incorrect, the online notification meant it was left on the entrance of my building where anyone had access to pick it up. This policy sucks! Calling the 800 number to open a claim was a much better experience. I was listened to, guy had a great tone ,was willing to help and empathized which the local Post Office never did. My claim is still open and unresolved but at least I have confirmation a promised effort that wasnt given to me locally!

Horrible. Friday 10/28/16 I payed $40 for new lock on mail box and the new place I moved in to. Was told it would be done the next day. That was lie number 1. Have been told 4-5 times that it would be done immediately. Im still waiting. Today 11/7/16 manager Dennis said he personally would do it in about 30 min and bring mail to my door. Should have known better than to believe someone who gets payed good money to do next to nothing. 1140am I was there. Its 2 pm now and the office is closed for a extended lunch break. First post office iv seen to completely close in the middle of the day but, wonder if it will be done today or next week. USPS going to compensate in anyway about this complete lack of consideration for people? This is absolutely ridiculous.

When I moved here from Elkton Md, I was also told tgat when I paid for my mail box key it would be changed that same day well that didnt happen gad to get my mail from the mail mam myself after I showed him/her my ID then it still took three more days before my key worked. And about my experience at the branch oh my the young guy was acting like he didnt even wanna be there it was just one big mess after another...÷(

Went in on Friday to have a new mailbox key installed. Was told theyd be out the next day to change it but its now Monday and thats yet to happen . Ive called the office multiple times with no answer. The professionalism of this place is ridiculous. Nothing but a bunch of lazy bums. SMH!!

Worst post office ever. Rude workers. Lazy mail carriers. They will leave packages on a porch in the rain and not even knock on the door to notify people.

If they could close at 6pm instead of 5pm it would help a lot. Some of their staff is aloof and needs to know what they are doing.
