May 6 2016 this location has the laziest group of chics you are ever going to see. They do as little as humanly possible to keep the job. The culture is terrible I once witnessed a new employee being told that she had done too much for the last customer. I went in this post office a little after 5pm one day and someone had spilled coffee all over the floor Im trying to knock on the glass to tell an employee but quess what after 5pm they will not even look up to acknowledge you. Most recently I had a package dropoff and I saw the mail carrier that does the last pickups of the day at that big mailbox in the lobby, I had a couple packages in my hand, my trunk was open as I had two more packages to be sent, I asked her to give me 2 seconds to get those packages and she said that she couldnt wait for another second for me to get them!! Mind you, my truck in open and directly in front of the door!?! I had to go all the way downtown to the main post office. I despise this location!

Absolutely the worst post office I have ever dealt with. Plenty of service windows but the max I have ever seen open has been two - and its amazing how those clerks either decide to pester each other with questions or they will just disappear into the back room, leaving long lines of customers frustrated. And home delivery is a joke. Unfrotunately, our neighborhood is serviced by the Nottingham branch and I cant begin to tell you the number of times the mail has been mis-delivered. Just yesterday, our entire block got each others mail and we all had to swap. The Nottingham branch is a classic example of the results you get from "dumbing down" the entry exam to enable the brain dead an opportunity for employment at the post office. By the way, the Perry Hall branch is no better. If you want excellent customer service, go to Kingsville post office on Sunshine Ave - its worth the drive.

Worst customer service ever. Ms. Green was curt and unfriendly on the phone when I asked about a package on hold. When I arrived the woman at the front desk began asking me a series of questions, like "why is your package being held?". Irrelevant, all they need is the address and ID to prove you live at that address and to check for a package that matches the address and name. She then walked to the back somewhere hollering Ms Green!, and promptly came back with the package. When she returned with my package she commented on my first name being different on the package, Tony, which is short for Anthony on my ID. Not allowing me to answer the question, or provide any additional proof of who I was, she promptly turned back to checking her texts on her phone and talking to her boyfriend who was standing there when I first came in.

By FAR the WORST post office Ever!!!!!!!! negative zero customer service! no one is willing to do anything there to help the customer! I understand you have a cushy government job, but its still your job to help the customers that come in. If you do not like the customer service aspect of it then maybe you should find employment elsewhere!!! Are there any type of upper management there to actually know how unorganized and unprofessional that post office is????? If so, then why hasnt anything ever been done????? The worst part is... i am right across the street and have to deal with them on a weekly basis. The phone is always busy and then when you actually go into the post office you still can not get anything accomplished because no one knows what anyone is doing!!!! I wish i could them Zero stars!!!!

In the last 6 months, this office has lost at least 5 packages, including a overnight Priority mail envelope, that showed located at the post office online, yet they could not find it, and then said that it had been delivered to my location, but could not provide a signature. Today, I found a envelope address to myself, in the bushes next to my building......We have lost two other pieces of mail this week, christmas gifts that were to be delivered here.....When I called the Supervisor, he said that his people would not throw mail away, but he had no idea how the letter got in the bushes....... And unfortunately, we are held hostage by this incompetence.

mailman for 8817 Belair Road...Since I moved in to this office in July 2013, Ive had a VERY difficult time getting this mailman to pick up my mail, if he has none to deliver....he just said thats postal service policy...I know it is not..he also would not take a bulk mailing because he said he was not required to, although the lady that subd for him another did...and apologized to me for his behavior...is it too much to ask to have a person open the door and check to see if the office they service has mail to go out? there are some lazy people in this world, but this jerk takes the cake...nottingham post office...

They should fire entire crew, a care package was sent for me and it sat at this poor excuse of a post office for an entire month before it was sent out! I was home before it reached destination and had to wait for it to be returned. Mail carriers of this post office are one of the laziest group of people I have ever seen, and horrible attitudes when approached, same when you call this office for assistance with a package/mail that has yet to be received however states its out for delivery for days. Had them sent packages back to sender without even attempting to deliver them!

I waited 20 minutes in line, while only one employee waited on customers. When it was my turn, I wanted specific stamps that were pictured in two different places at this post office. I was told that they didnt have them. The employee just shrugged and said that they dont have them. I said that they are pictured up there, while pointing and she just said we don have them and showed me a box of loose mismatched stamps. I left with nothing. I ordered them on line online to find out that I had to pay sipping. Very frustrating!!!!!

God awful delivery service. On 4 seperate occasions my mail has come extremely late, delivered to the wrong address, or not delivered at all. Ive gotten paychecks delivered almost 3 weeks late! Currently waiting on an important piece of mail that has now taken 20 DAYS TO ARRIVE AND COUNTING. When I spoke to the supervisor, she was very unprofessional and rude despite me trying to be understanding. God help you if you are unlucky enough to end up in this post offices jurisdiction. Youd be lucky to ever get your mail on time.

I received superior assistance regarding an address change from Jackie at this location. She was knowledgeable about the situation and had all the answers. Address changes are best done on-line. Stay away from paper address changes as they are slow and there are too many opportunities for errors and delays. There is an on line charge of $1.05 to do the on-line change which verifies the identity of the person doing the change. If you are in the Nottingham, MD post office, ask for Jackie. She is great!!!!
