The repair for my car initially took three weeks when they estimated two due to an extra part they found they needed to replace. However, when they considered it ready, it had so many bumps in the paint from dirt that the insurance representative that works there admitted that it was a really bad paint job. They let me use their rental at no cost after the first reject but after I rejected it the 4th time (and 20 days) they said they would not address all of the remaining issues I pointed out. It seems pre accident condition does not mean pre accident condition if they are having trouble with getting the job done right. When I was forced to take my car back the Back-up Camera wasnt plugged in (that was resolved while I waited, but that should never have been missed especially considering how much they have driven it back and forth for me to look at it), the pin that holds the gas cover is still not sitting straight (which I discovered while getting gas and told them about), and there are still bumps in the paint that I previously pointed out. Under my trunk it also looks like there is paint damage that was never touched. I also found out they charged my insurance company $7,000 but the estimate they gave me was $4,500 which I find quite disturbing. ----- I sent an email to Jones in response to their request on 6/4/2017 in which I explained the situation. ----- As a result of the email I sent, on 6/7/2017 I showed my car to the General Manager of Jones and he agreed to have my issues addressed. I will leave my car at the body shop next week and update this post after the additional work is complete. ----- On 6/12/17 I dropped my car off at the body shop for the remaining issues to be addressed. The next day I was called and told all work was completed, however when I went to look at my car there was still damage to the paint on the trunk hinge (picture provided) that had not been touched. The manager claimed it was not on the list of things to do but the general manager of Jones saw it and said it would be addressed. The manager said he would show it to his painter. There are still quite a few bumps in the paint that the manager claims are up to industry standards, though the general manager thought they were not good enough when he saw the bumps they have still not resolved. It seems I will not be able to get any more of the remaining bumps taken care of at Jones as their body shop standards are not as high as mine or their own general managers. There was damage I noticed while taking pictures inside the trunk before taking my car in on the 12th that was never fixed (picture provided) and that does now seem to be addressed. The latch for the gas cover is now straight. I have provided one of the pictures of my car with masking tape (all of which I provided to Jones and they printed out for my file) to indicate where some of the bumps were at the 4th time I rejected the paint job. ----- After a couple more times having my car back at the collision center for bumps in the paint, a crooked trunk, damaged paint around the gas tank cover, and areas around the cover that were never painted, I thought I had gotten my car to a point where I could live with their work. The car was still not to pre accident condition and I dont think Jones Body Shop is capable of pre accident condition based on all the tries it has taken to get my car to this point. I made it clear that the last time I had my car there would be their last chance and any remaining issues would be handled by another company. On 7/4/2017 I was pulled over for having a tail light out (picture provided) and received a warning for it. This light was removed and put back by Jones while they were working on it. There is a lose connection and it will be fixed elsewhere because I no longer trust the Jones Body Shop & Collision Center. This ordeal and substandard work is why I have changed my rating from the previous 2 stars to 1 star.

Bad customer service, they are not responsive, dont keep you posted and a big miss when initially assessing the damage on my vehicle which has at least doubled the amount of time to fix my vehicle. I would not have minded that this job is taking longer than I expected, if they were just upfront with the timeframe at the onset and always kept me updated. Also, they gave me some silly excuses on why this is taking longer than expected instead of just owning on the mistake. I definitely would not take my car here again for damage repair in case I ever needed to and I would not consider buying another vehicle under the Jones dealership again. I left Ed Zimmerman - Body Shop Manager a voice message to express my frustrations – of course no call back yet… Im anxiously waiting on this repair job to be done and Ill update this review accordingly later. *** Update 04/17/2017 *** We did get our car back on 04/05/2017 - after emailing my concerns/issues, they did make sure we were taken cared off and updated me promptly on the progress of the repairs. We went back on 04/17/2017 since one of the items was loose and also wanted the rear camera checked as well - AJ took care of us even though we did not have a prior appointment and promptly had one of the technician fix our car.

My Experience with Jones Body Shop was excellent. I was treated well and the work took a day longer than expected but I am pleased with how my car looks now! I would recommend the body shop to anyone and the Rental Car Service was great! Linda Brown
