Dont waste your money at this shop. They do not pay attention to detail and do not seem to take pride in their work. I took my car in for minor bodywork and a complete paint job last summer. At the time, it had no electrical or mechanical problems. I picked one of the better paint packages to get the finish I wanted. They had the car for 2 weeks. When I picked it up, some of the paint looked like it was starting to peel. I was told there is a warranty if the paint ever peels. When I got home, the window would not close properly, which would have caused a water leak, and there were also several other problems that neeed to be corrected due to Maaco not properly reassembling what they took apart to paint the car. I took the car back a few weeks later and left it there with a list of the items to be corrected. Three weeks later the car was still in the shop and only 2 of the problems had been corrected. I must keep the car covered when it rains due to the windows not being reinstalled correctly. Somehow they managed to spray paint on the seat belts. I will now have to fix the remaing problems myself, or pay someone to fix them for me in order to get the car back in the same condition it was when I initially dropped it off.

I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Low lights of dealing with this shop included broken promises on completion dates, several errors, a return trip that still didnt correct the issues, and receiving the car back with dirt and debris in the interior. Complaining to MAACO corporate will get you no where as these are all franchises. The owner did invite me to bring the car back a third time and he would personally fix the issues, but I wasnt about to give them the car again. I really cant say enough bad about this experience from start to finish. **Edit to address the owners reply below** The paint job we purchased was $600...but your reply indicates that you have to pay more money to have a better experience? The final product paint job was a lesser issue than the poor customer service shown by your staff. As I said, you offered to clean the car yourself after your staff returned it to me dirtier than it was given...but there was NO WAY you were getting the car back for a THIRD time.

Had a little glitch with the person that I initially dealt with. He ordered the wrong trunk lid without a keyhole and wanted to install it as is. He admitted he did not know it did not come with a keyhole, and tried to pull a fast one on me by telling me that for the price that I am paying, that I should take it as is. Of course not!!!! I would not have agreed if I knew there wasnt going to be a keyhole (my car does not have a "Keyless Entry" feature - I manually open the doors and the trunk with a key). Long story short, I ended up talking to Zack, the manager. Zack did the responsible thing by having the installer (Ken) drill a hole and install the lock assembly. Despite all that, I still recommend the shop and Ken for doing a good job. It would have been 5 stars if the guy did not try to pull a fast one on me.

The most important thing to me was understanding what needed to be done in order to get my car painted well and what cost options were available. That was successfully explained and I signed up for the 6 star gloss and durability option. After beginning the preparation process the painter discovered that the bumper also had to be replaced due to a prior accident of which I was unaware. A special discounted price was offered which I immediately accepted. Upon examining the completed job I must say that the results were better than I anticipated. I am a satisfied customer that would recommend this facility to anyone considering a new paint job. Thank you Maaco for a great experience.

I have been working on cars since shop class in 1983. Since then I have had many opportunities to take an old car and make it better. In that time I have dealt with some good auto body shops and some not-so-good. The main reason why I mention this is because if you have a project and youre on a tight budget, you want and need the best quality product/service your money can buy. If thats the case then you should consider doing business with the folks at this shop. I was able to get my entire car painted for just over $800.00 -- WITH a 3 year warantee as well. Zack, Wes, and Ken are ALL very professional and they will work with you. Enough said...

Zach and the crew did my 2010 Tahoe 2 years ago in pearl white at the Hagerstown shop. He also did body work on it when I was in an accident which took my front bumper, grille and headlights out. I was pleased with that job so I called him up again and he came past my house to give me an estimate on my work van. This past week I took it to the Frederick shop and he did my work van which was a two-tone yellow/brown and changed it to a nice gray with lite metallic. Customer service is great from my experience and hes very personable, Ill definitely see him again when needed and recommend him as well.

Such a great job doing a full call...door jams and all, they took a dull silver convertible and made it the bright high gloss red the girlfriend was wanting. Couldnt be more pleased with the service received. The price quote was spot on (no additional fine print charges), the time estimate was spot on, and most importantly....the car looks great! Even up close, there is NO indication this car was ever any color besides the red it was painted. Highly recommend this shop to anyone needing body/paint work.

I had my step-mother back into my car, leaving a dent and red paint on my new (to me) WHITE Volkswagen Jetta. They got my car done in less than 24 hours, I had to come back to get it detailed (which I dont mind, sine they rushed the paint and fixing the dent, its my only car) and its beautiful! Great price and Zach was such a big help. Thanks again! I will definitely be back (but hopefully not too soon :P)
