Long story short, the worst experience Ive ever had. Today around 9, I called to make an appt. I was told that no appointments were being made today and just to walk in. So I walked in around 2:15-2:30 and was met with a hairdresser (I forget her name, but she has short blonde hair and is very tan). I explained what I wanted at the front desk (hair cut with blonde ombre dye) and was met immediately by being cut off mid explanation a few times. Then when i showed a picture, The woman gave an exaggerated eye roll and said "Well I dont have time for that today, my shift ends soon." She paused, and waited for my response which was absent, and then continued, "But Hannah gets in at 3, if you want to wait around and grab a coffee or something." So I walked up to Harris Teeter and waited for a little under half an hour and started to walk back. When walking back, I saw both Hannah and the woman I met at the desk outside smoking cigarettes, while another hairdresser is pulling up & honking at them. Before the obnoxious honking, I heard both of the women talking about me. I knew it was about me due to the current customers being men with short hair, and being that my hair cut isnt very common. The women joked about my soon to be hair cut dubbing it the "mom haircut", and the dye style looking like a "Tennessee waterfall". I continued to walk in because I thought they both had a bad attitude, and that they could maintain that attitude as long as neither of them were touching my hair. Hannah walked in after me, and proceeded to ask me for appointment information that they allegedly were not taking today. In the chair, Hannah was okay with a consultation. She made it clear that it would be difficult to turn my red hair into blonde, and would probably take a few appointments to get it there. That was fine. While talking to her through the mirror I saw her motion to the first girl, (whos shift was supposed to be over), to the back. They both walk into the back and I hear an eruption of laughter. Given my current experience, Its safe to assume its about me. At that point I have decided to leave. But before I gather my things, the first woman I met walked out of the back on the phone with a customer. She says loudly, for the other hairdressers to hear, "You want to make an appointment with Titania?". All the other hairdressers laugh. The woman next to me told her client that it was funny because the hair dressers name is Theresa, or something along those lines. The woman on the phone says, "No I dont think we have a Titania here." and does not offer the hairdressers name or anything to accommodate the confused customer. The amount of unprofessional-ism is ridiculous. Usually I would never leave a review, being that I too work in customer service. But this is on a whole new level. Dont waste your time or money.

So my teenage daughter walks in to get her hair trimmed and the hair dresser tells her that her hair is thinning and she should see a doctor. Just what a teenage girl needs to hear to build her confidence. She cried all the way home. Thanks for nothing.

Stylist did not listen to my instructions about what I wanted. It looks okay, but its not what I wanted, and now I need to wait another 4 months to try again in order to get exactly what I want.

Ask for Shanna. She is A-MA-ZING!!!!! She can do ALL hair types! Cut, Colors, Eyebrows, etc. She is also very knowledgeable about hair. Her recommendations are on point!
