My name is Janice .. Feb. 3rd appt. with another different stylist .. Janelle (sp?) ... since Steph left quite sometime ago, I have yet to find a stylist there that left me 100% satisfied with my color and/or cut services. However, that is not stated in a derogatory manner! ALL stylists at Sagittarius that I have recd services from have been wonderful, aimed to please, maintained professionalism at all times and attempted to fulfill my requests to the best of their abiliity! In that regard I was always pleased and need to clarify that any/all dissatisfaction from services recd was basically, for lack of better terminology, unintentional erroneous miscommunication between the stylist and myself! Sagittarius has an awesome group of talented individuals and continues to be the ONLY salon that I trust to touch my hair .. I highly recommend them and have been a customer for 25+ years!! Having said that, I am not a regular patron due to the financial incapability to be as such, however, when I can afford services .. Sagittarius is my #1 and again, only choice, for salons in this area! Id like to take this opportunity to say thank you .. to Marsha .. to Jordan .. to all of the talented staff employed there .. thank you for your continued strive for excellence .. you ARE appreciated!! Furthermore, and the heart of the reason if you will, that I chose to take the time to write this review .. my Feb. 3rd appt. w/Janelle? F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C.!! I was/am, completely satisfied with my color services recd there and just have to say .. girl .. you heard me!! You actually exceeded my color expectations and I am thrilled :) It is truly an accomplishment to find a stylist that is on the same page .. for me anyhow ;) Thank you Janelle .. Im very happy and if youll have me, Id love to schedule my next appt. with you again! Woohoo .. perfect :)

I am from out of town... I googled hair salons in Hagerstown and I got led to their website which was very impressive. I chose the leading lady of color and styling in the salon. When I called the receptionist they fit me into Loris busy schedule which i was sooooo grateful for b/c my rooties really needed a touch up lol. I do not know what the other girl was talking about in the review b/c they definitely live up to their hype. The salon is very very welcoming and so are all the ppl that work there. They give complimentary shoulder and hand massges....offer you something to drink..and when you check out they send you off with a gift bag. That would make any customer come back in my mind!!! To top it all off I did my hair with Lorie...right when I walked in I could just tell she could do hair... her hair...make-up..and even the way she dressed was very well put together. She was darling ...and when I arrived she asked what I wanted to do to my hair...and thats exactly what she did...WHAT I WANTED!!! i love love love love my hair... i do not live in MD..but I would sure fly back here just to do my hair with her!!!SHE KNOWS HER STUFF!!!!

I am from Chambersburg and have been driving down to Hagerstown to Sagittarius for over a year now. I keep going back because I feel the quality of service and relaxing atmosphere is worth the drive (and the price tag). You can tell their stylists are well-trained. Im shocked by some of the negative reviews below. In all my visits, Ive only had one bad experience: My stylist canceled last minute; I was told she was ill and had to leave for the day. I took an appointment with another stylist, and when I got to the salon, there was my original stylist, working on someone else! I have never used that stylist since. Which kind of broke my heart, because she REALLY could cut hair! But, you know what, so can the other stylists there!!! I highly recommend Codie and Lorah! I can attest they give GREAT cuts (and I have especially difficult baby-fine hair); theyre creative and very patient! Janelle is also very good. Ive always had good experiences at Sagittarius so far as color. My hair is the healthiest its ever been, and I think its because of the products they use!

Outstanding!! Ive been coming to Sagittarius for about a year now, and still drive an hour after moving to Virginia to see Nichole. She is a genius, as are the rest of the lovely ladies and gentlemen of Sagittarius. I refer all my friends and co-workers any chance I get. Ive never had a salon experience like this. You are greeted with a big grin and efficient hospitality the minute you walk in the door. The salon is beautiful and well kept. The knowledge of the staff is impressive, but not to be outdone by their skills in all areas of the beauty realm. The hand massage/conditioning treatment, incredible scalp massage, and drinks provided during cuts/color etc. are just more I could rave about. I trust my hair in Nicholes hands because she values my input and provides helpful and realistic maintenance advice for reaching my hair goals, truly a gem!! :)

Sagittarius Salon & Spa in Hagerstown, MD offers patrons a truly indulgent experience, whether just getting a quick trim or treating oneself to their spa services. Skilled hair artists dressed in black can tame even the wildest of manes. The shampoo treatments are nice although I tend to pass on the steamed face towel and hand treatment. Be aware that prices vary depending on the assigned skill level of your stylist. Beverages are available to patrons although I am unsure if they are an additional charge. The salon recently went through a renovation which did away with the tall, dark salon stations in favor of lower, more open stations. You will likely want to schedule an appointment ahead of time. Tell them Shawn sent you. Overall, I give Sagittarius Salon & Spa four bottles of shampoo out of five.

5 stars all around; Ive had several haircuts, foils twice, numerous massages, and lash tinting treatments from their respective salon techs. I always leave feeling good about my salon experience and about myself. Staff are friendly and professional; I never feel rushed, but relaxed and, yes, even pampered. Ive also gotten a few nice jewelry deals there! Have gotten many compliments on both my hair cut/style (a modified Bob) and my color (color specialists are actually helping me go to my natural gray after many years of coloring. Im very excited about it!) I recommend Sagittarius Salon & Spa without reservation and am looking forward to my next visit ^-^

Ive been going to Sagittarius since I was a young girl (back in the 1970s!). I now have a very basic hairstyle - straight hair, with bangs - but rest assured, I a-l-w-a-y-s get a precision cut...nothing is uneven, or ever crooked! Ive been coming so long, that Im "grandfathered"! If you are new in town, or if youre thinking of making a change, please consider Sagittarius! You will be treated like a queen (or king) and given excellent customer service. Youll also walk away feeling terrific/confident about yourself, knowing that you look good and have properly-cared-for hair, and that youve been to the best Salon/Spa in Hagerstown! =^..^=
