Perry Moving and Storage provided a competent, thorough and prudently priced service for our move from Anne Arundel County, Maryland to Scotland County, North Carolina. They moved for us, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room with bar, office and 4 sheds of equipment and patio furniture. The estimate process was rather cumbersome due to us, several times, changing our needs. Diana the estimator and Rich the owner were very nice about it and helpful in explaining our options and providing price quotes. The final price was less than the quote. That never happens!! They provided recycled boxes and packing paper. Another cost savings for us! We ended up having Perry pack our fragile china, figurines, artwork and televisions. They also packed our kitchen and fit a Chevy Avalanche pickup truck on their truck. Tara was our corporate contact person during the move. You would have thought she was in the same room with us for as much as she kept in touch. We can find no fault with the packing crew, having just unpacked our last box and found nothing broken. The moving crew did a tremendous job. The moving out and in days were rainy. They appropriately protected our floors of carpet, hardwood, laminate and tile. An extremely heavy bar was hauled up a flight of stairs without any nicks to walls. We were concerned for the top man doing the majority of lifting, however scary, it was successful and cheers rose at the bars placement in our new game room. We cant be anymore grateful for the wonderful group of people who make up Perry Moving and Storage

For a pcs move most wouldnt complain, but my, oh my how I wish I was able to pick the moving company.First, the moving crew (ES, RC, and heavy set guy w/huge cyst on elbow) was over an hour late arriving, plans had been changed from originally quoted, "pack & return for pick-up" to "pack & same day move". The crew spent more time commenting on items we had and in our bathroom than anything I ever expected. Instead of packing items in the original boxed & placing in theirs everything was either paper wrapped or thrown where they could fit. ALL of the liquids that werent supposed to be packed were, so imagine coconut oil in the middle of June on the east coast (it was everywhere by the time we received our belongings). The numbering system used is a mess. We had random numbers like 12 & 64 coming out of the same room (so you cant truly track your items). We had a new Droid cell phone stolen out of our m-bedroom draw storage that the mover wrapped up with all the other items we originally had stored in it. We were not aware of the stolen phone until we received our items 4 states away. I was definitely pissed off to have being stolen from, although I should have kept my eye on the guy since he (RC, initials on master boxes) said hed purchased stolen merchandise just weeks earlier. Shame. Avoid at all cost or prepared to have someone in every part of your moving quarters to watch everyone. Hope Perry hire honorable people in the future. People work hard and save for a while to buy things the want & need.

Perry Moving moved my mom from her condo to a senior community. It was a very emotional day. The movers packed and moved her in the same day. They got there right on time, but the day took longer than expected. They did not move too quickly. All in all we thought the day went well, until we discovered that my moms engagement ring that she hid in her dresser drawer was missing. When I called the sales representative he was very nice and had the drivers check the truck. No luck. I was then forward to the owner who was nasty and of no help. He blamed my mom for putting something so valuable in her drawer. No apologies or acceptance of blame whatsoever. For that reason I would not use them again or recommend them to my friends. There are many movers options out there so take my advice get a recommendation from a friend before selecting a mover. Oh and get valuable out of you home before any move.

I had used Perry Moving for a local move within Columbia. The crew (3 guys) showed up early and ready to work on a Saturday morning. All were extremely nice and professional, and took great care to transport all my belongings and heavy furniture without any damage. They also went the extra mile by disassembling and reassembling some bigger couches in order to get through a few tight spaces in my new home. I really appreciated this, because as they said most moving companies would probably just tell you it wont fit and call it a day. Overall this was a very simple, easy local move with Perry but they exceeded all my expectations. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

I highly recommend this Company. I was looking for a mover and just googled them. When I met their representative, Diana, I knew that this was a reputable Company. I did not even read any of the reviews or referral letters. No damage and nothing missing. Rons team was awesome !! They were very careful. I have heard horror stories from co workers who would relocate for the Company I previously worked for and I certainly did not experience this with Perry Moving & Storage. I honestly recommend this Company !!

Had them pack and move me into a POD. One of the packers stole a very expensive bottle of alcohol that was a gift ( > $200 value). Didnt realize until I unpacked the POD and boxes two states away. No recourse b/c of course he denied it. Broke a glass lamp and I didnt get full insurance coverage (that part is my fault) so I got $5 reimbursement b/c it weighed nothing. Broke a desk and large jewelry chest. I tipped well too on an expensive move. Smh. Watch them closely.

We had a great experience with Perry Movers. They moved us from Florida to Virginia, and also kept our belongings in storage for 2 months before our new house was done. While there was minimal damage to 2 pieces of furniture, they fixed it quickly at no cost to us and it looks brand new. The office staff was very helpful and easy to work with and the moving crew was very professional and great on the day of our move. Would definitely recommend Perry!

From the first contact that show me such respect for what I do for the country,from a marine no less,to the final delivery of my furniture by the crew of men who were caring to my needs. Everyone was so helpful! We had a live changing move from Florida back to Maryland and they helped by showing up on time, taking great care in packing all our possessions and moving them carefully. As we were able to do most of the packing ourselves, they gave us an adjustment in their estimate of moving costs. We totally recommend them.
