Maaco Collision Repair & auto Painting Laurel Md, 20707 I had a terrible experience with this location. The owner/Gm(Michael Frost) was extremely rude and condescending. Prior to this incident, I had done business with Antonio Tarpley and had no problems, he was polite and informed. Anyhow when I arrived on 07/10/2017 to drop off my car, my intent was to have my car painted for the $299 special. My car was primed/sanded and ready to be painted. The week before I had walked into the location and discussed the cost with the estimator Rudy Perez..it was established at $299 possibly more. when I arrived on Monday during my conversation with Mr Perez, the Gm Mr Frost thrust himself into discussions, and proceeded to inform me in no uncertain terms that the price had changed and was now estimated at $370. He insisted I pay upfront (which I did) I found this strange informing me that work performed would have no warranty. To some extent I understand upselling, my issue was the tone and approach, I work in sales and understand the importance of customer service. I ended up picking up my vehicle on the 07/13/17. The paint job was fine....however on my way home my car broke down....it is currently in the shop. I dont believe the breakdown had anything to do with Maaco but because of my exchange with the Gm, it left me very Frustrated.......I will not return to that location ever.

This was my frist time using Maaco & i must say this was the WORST experience I have ever had. Took my car in, paid them upfront and my car was never fixed right. Seemless repair my butt! They dont allow you too bring in your own parts so they can jack their price up on you for the repair.They use cheap paint because i can still see the lines from where they sanded my fender. They painted my fender AFTER putting it on the car because there were still parts that were not painted. My Door is a much darker shade of silver then the rest of the car because the paint was not blened into the rest of the car. The owner is completely rude, completely dishonest, & abosolutely an Idiot! My advice stay away from this Maaco if you want your job done right.

I came here to get my car painted. I purchased the mid class paint job. 2 months after receiving the paint job, the paint started to crack and chip. I saw spider like veins all over my car. I took it to 2 different body shops and they both told me Maaco (specifically Antonio) did not prep the car properly to be painted. He simply sprayed a thick coat of paint. I went back to this Maaco to show them the paint job. Mike took no responsibility for the crappy paint job. He said "these shops dont know what they are taking about. Paint cracks all the time." Im now worried that more cracks will surface on my car. This was a total waste of money and now I will be going elsewhere to have my car repainted.

I had a bad bumper repair that was an insurance claim. They did a great job but could have cleaned out their mess better inside. They were a little slow keeping up with my insurance company. All in all I was satisfied with the work. You couldnt tell my bumper was crushed and hanging off. Tim

Brought in a spoiler to get painted and in two days the paint started peeling off. Their answer was, "cheap parts, cheap results." My thought is if you do it right the first time it shouldnt matter. Now I have to take the spoiler off and bring it back and wait another week for them to finish.

Antonio Tarpley was excellent in customer service and professionalism! He was fast and easy to work with. He even got my car back to me earlier than expected. I would recommend this Maaco to anyone. Plus the price was much cheaper than 3-4 other companies I called and went to for a price quote

Ive sent several cars and trucks there for paint, they did a great job on all of them. Even paint the trim for me! I have a car resale business. Lets face it folks, for ~$500 you get what you get. You are not buying a showcar paint job. Haters.

Toke my honda accord to replace my front fender and paint it 2 weeks later it start peeling its been 3 months since done and they still wont fix it they want me to pay outta pocket for there mistake

horrible. mike the owner needs to communicate better. not willing to work with you unless its a big ticket insurance job. go to the jessup maaco, much better customer service and prices there.
