September of last year I was involved in an accident that left the rear of my vehicle damaged. Peters body shop fixed it to ALMOST satisfaction. When removing all items from my trunk to do the work, instead of putting them on the rear seat, someone stuffed everything into a plastic bin, ruining one of my nicest straw fedoras! I took the hat back and showed them the damage that theyd done and they paid for it. Peters Body Shop failed to replace the AWD badge on the trunk and they replaced the inside trunk handle with a generic piece (although they maintain that it is a stock part that they ordered which is simply NOT the truth). I reached out within 3 days of taking the car home through their texting system they used to keep me updated about the car. They ignored me after saying that it was okay to text them about my car. I didnt make a big deal of it because I had planned on using them again for bumper damage unrelated to the prior accident. They had given me an estimate of how much it would be to fix it. I brought the car to Peters on Monday, March 27 and asked for a second estimate (repair vs replace). I was told Id be given a call the same day. I didnt hear anything. The entire Tuesday goes by and I still dont hear anything, so I call and was THEN given an estimate over the phone. I asked if I go with one solution over the other, how long would it take to finish the car. Brooke, the receptionist, put me on hold to go and ask a tech. When she came back to the phone she told me that my car was "repaired but needed to be painted. So I never got the call that I was expecting and I didnt get to elect how I wanted my vehicle fixed. Brookes response was "if you want us to replace the bumper we can do that" but the problem is, now Id have to pay for the work already done. So I DONT have a choice. She said the car would be ready to go by Wednesday. A male calls me 2 hours later to make me aware that one of my fog lights is broken and the whole piece needs to be replaced versus the bulb. This will now cost me $274 more. He told me that because it was so late in the day he didnt know if the part would come the next day or later but he would call me and let me know. Whats makes this particular experience worse is, when he called me, he hung up on me (wont get into the particulars of that) and when I called back he LIED to me and told me the call dropped. Never in my 37 years of life have I ever experienced a LANDLINE dropping a call but I digress. Wednesday rolls around and I had taken the day off and I get no call. I call after 4:30 only to be told that "they" didnt like something about the paint or the repair so they werent done with the car. A call would be the courteous thing to do but Peters has CLEARLY established a pattern of poor communication. On Thursday after 4 pm I get a call that the car is done but because Peters closes at 5;30, its impossible to make it from DC to their location in less than an hour and a half. I pick the car up this morning and because it is pouring down I dont have the opportunity to inspect the car to my satisfaction. When I take the car home and put it in the garage, Im able to take a better look only to notice that the bumper isnt perfectly aligned, somehow the new fog-light is dimmer than the older one and they still didnt replace the AWD badge!

I got a quote from one body shop in Baltimore county, it was 6,700. thought it was high, I was half owner for five years in a body shop and used car lot in the early 2000s, so I had the repairs to be about 5k according to my prior knowledge/estimate:) ...so I researched places with seemingly decent reviews.... and got a quote from Peters. They took a few hours and then quoted, get this: over 9000. DO NOT take your car here. If they are just ripping insurance off, and insurance allows it, ok, fine, that is THEIR problem, but these people are insane with their prices. My guess is that they are willing to make themselves look like shysters , because their real motive is to do no work that isnt insurance co. pd. work, ....not sure why ( Ill probably google that Q, Im so curious, my previous body shop did all kinds of work.....:). A guess on that , may be that they want to price gauge, or are concerned that an individual wont pay? who knows. I have been in a couple businesses for decades, what you do, is get half down, and dont deliver the product till the other half is paid. So why they wont do any work for people makes no sense to me. But its just a mystery why they would purposely price themselves into oblivion, knowing how obvious it is they are doing that. but gouging the public with insulting prices, insults their common sense and is not good business and makes them look generally dishonest.

Repair Order # 26690 I have a 2012 Nissan Versa. My car was roughly a month old. My car was in an accident where the driver behind me slammed in the back of my car and I slammed in the back of another vehicle. I brought my car to Peters Body shop to get repaired. It took maybe about 3-4 weeks to get repaired; Considering I didnt just have body damage I had a lot of work underneath the body that needed fixing. I think my car got finish in ample time. Once I got my car back it looked BRAND NEW, all the way down too the color. In which I am VERY PLEASED with their work. And they even removed a rust stain!!!! Im soooooo happy to have my baby looking the way I brought it ;Thanks to PETERS Thank You Peters Body Shop Repair Order # 26690

I cannot say enough about the service I received from Kristina and the staff at Peters Body Shop. My 25 year old Camaro needed some body work due to an unfortunate accident. The car is mostly original and has a great deal of sentimental value to me. I had a lot of concerns about how well anyone would be able to put my car back the way it was. Turns out, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The staff at Peters went above and beyond to make my old car look like new. There are no words that I can use to adequately convey my sincerest appreciation and thanks for the work they did. So instead, I would recommend to anyone needing any type of body work on their vehicle, go see the staff at Peters. You will NOT be disappointed.

No one is at their best after an accident. I have had my car rear-ended and deer ended. The staff at Peters Body Shop is phenomenal. Everyone did everything they could to get me settled, get a rental car and talk with insurance and others to get me on my way. I picked up my car today. It looks brand new. There was even a bunch of flowers on the inside . I HOPE you never need their services, but I recommend them highly. An awesome group of caring, compassionate, experienced professionals.
