I do not recommend using Staff Quest unless you are very desperate. They test you to find your skill set which is normal BUT they test you on your knowledge of prehistoric software. They need to know that you are proficient in Microsoft Office 95 and give you a math test that feels like you are taking your SATs without a calculator. "Some offices may not have updated computer systems or calculators." Well these are not ideal places to work. After over an hour of testing you are offered a job which pays well below the average wage for that particular position. They want you to be happy about this because after all " you are getting a job." I am not sure of whom I was speaking with because no one ever introduced themselves to me by name but there were 2 ladies there when I visited. Lady A (African American, light skin, black/dark brown hair (permed), average weight) seemed slightly polite but very testy. Lady B (Caucasian, sandy blonde hair worn down on shoulders, tall) was very polite and conversational. I had no issues with her. I asked Lady A if there were any positions that paid around my desired hourly wage and she explained to me that there were but I did not have the skill set for them. Apparently in order to make AT LEAST $15/hr you would need to have account executive experience. I was presented with a position that paid $7.50/hr LESS than my previous job yet it was the same work as my previous job. I am still trying to wrap my brain around how I do not have the skill set to make what they THINK is account executive money. I have a Bachelor’s degree, scored very well on my math testing, typed 49 wpm and have years of experience with administrative work. To say the least I felt insulted. Lady A also pointed out that I had not been working for the last 4 months which is something else I am trying to understand. Does this mean I am supposed to be desperate enough for work to take a large pay cut? Does this mean I lost all of my skills in a matter of 4 months? I was told that good paying positions just "simply arent out there" and that the reason why I made so much at my previous job was because I "worked my way up." I politely explained to her (Lady A) that this was not true and that I started there as a temp as well making a wage that is supposedly not out there anymore. Needless to say I did not complete my interview and upon leaving I was informed that all paperwork that Id completed would be shredded. I feel like I’d wasted over 1.5 hours of time in which I can never get back. All this could have been avoided because I clearly communicated with them what I was looking for in a position, including my desired wage. Thankfully Id just left an interview before arriving there that was offering a wage right within my target. If you decided to work for Staff Quest I just hope you have a much better experience than I did.

I would use this agency with a grain of salt. I thought about the positives and well the cat named logan is friendly but there are better agencys out there. I recieved a call from this agency so far in the future from when I applied that I forgot they existed. Another agency had already put me to work providing me with 50-60 hours of overtime per week. I lied to them and said I had no work to see if it would motivate them even harder to help place me with a job and it failed. Why use an agency that does not prioritize finding you work? I switched to other agencies that found me higher paying work within the span of 2 days from the day I stepped foot in their office. Staff quests favorite line is "Ill put your name in". Lol i am about my hustle though so by the time this agency finds me an opportunity a year from now the wait will be fine because I will have already been employed several times over. Your better off on your own or finding another agency they will call and leave you a voice message and then have an attitude when you give them a return phonecall haha bye staffquest just bye lol. there leads go nowhere and the conversations are just a waste of time. This has been "my personal experience" perhaps they have been good for you they werent for me to each his or her own though. You dont have to be worried about me returning your phone calls or emails anymore staffquest I am in good hands now so long.

I highly recommend Staff Quest to anyone look for a reliable, dependable, efficient, professional, and friendly temp agency. I have never went through a staffing agency when looking for a job, so I was extremely cautious about applying to one. Im glad I did and im glad my first experience was with Staff Quest. Staff Quest replied to my email in a reasonably and timely matter. Veronica is the best job recruiter I have ever dealt with or met. She was determined to find me a job assignment, helped me improve my resume, and was available whenever I had a question about my job assignment or a question in general. I now have a full time permanent position at a state job I would have never thought in a million years would be within my career path. I would highly recommend Staff Quest to anyone in need of work. This agency is by far one of the best Temp Agencies located in the Owings Mills area. The jobs that they provide are pretty high skilled jobs, which means youre less likely to end up in a warehouse, giving your qualifications. Above all, its about the human connection and the Staff Quest people are more than dedicated to finding you work, especially Veronica. Veronica has a heart of gold and is truly one of the best job placement recruiters that I have worked with. So, if youre in need of work, Staff Quest is your source, hands down.

My experience with Staff Quest has been a pleasant experience. I was greeted by a welcoming staff who really took interest in guiding my in my career aspirations. Job location placement was immediate. That same temporary job turned into a full time opportunity with the government. Staff Quest was very happy for me although they were losing a great employee in such a short period of time. Going forward I will always recommend Staff Quest services to prospective temps. I would like to say that Staff Quest was like a part of a savior for me I was dislocated out here in the work world, due to recovery from being ill. I went to Staff Quest and began working for them and now I am long term contractual with a Maryland State government job. I feel like god used them to bounce me back. Thank you soooo much !
