Trouble is you cant give 0 stars to rate something. I have the distinct misfortune of living within this zip code and am forced to use this location as it is in route to the I-695 loop around Baltimore. My mail is consistently delivered very late in the evening, and frequently to my neighbors...sometimes blocks away. The people at the counter are obviously very secure in their jobs and the management has no balls to suggest to their staff that good customer relations may translate into positive support for the organization as a whole. However the cherry on the cake which prompted this review was that I dropped off Christmas Cards to be mailed on December 5th, just yesterday December 19th I get a card returned marked "unable to deliver as addressed". The card was ripped and torn and looked like it was stepped on several times for good measure. It was not postmarked so it appears it never left the Parkville Office. So what do I do you ask? I go to the United States Postal Service Zip Code locator on this thing called the "internet" and type in the address as it appears exactly as my fat chubby fingers wrote it on the envelope. Within milliseconds it returned an address with the zip code exactly as it appeared on the card. When a government official lies there should be some repercussions, as I am sure it took LONGER to affix this bogus cant mail label to one of my cards than to go ahead and deliver it. Truth be told, from the way this operation is run and the condition of this card, I suspect it was opened so that it could be checked for cash. You guys in Parkville suck. Your management is horrible and I make sure you are aware of your total incompetence. As a public service, the Postmaster Generals address is: 475 LEnfant Plaza SW, Washington, DC 20260-0010 I have personally been there and am friends with some of the maintenance crew that maintains the headquarters building. I helped install the incoming high voltage breakers for the building and set up the system protection there. To be sure I will submit a formal complaint with pictures. It may be tough to fire a civil servant, but it shouldnt be too hard to reassign them. Who was the person that gave this place 5 stars? The boss?

Liars. After speaking to Curtis at the USPS customer service line for Baltimore. He told me my best bet to get my packages that was "out for delivery" on 3/15 was to talk to "Sharee" at the location. After waiting for 15 minutes after "Sharee" was paged, someone without a name tag came out of the back with a look on her face that said "I gave up years ago, there is no way I would help you even if I could". She told me that my package WAS out for delivery not with my regular carrier, and that because of being backed up due to snow, the package came back to the post office that night and was back out for delivery today. Her face however, said that she knew exactly who had my package, she doubted it would get there today, if ever. So I leave the rude, and despondent, USPS staff behind to go home and wait for my package that is now a day late. At 8:22 the tracking updated to "no access" which means that the carrier could not deliver because of a locked door, or some other obstruction/hazard. I live in a house, I was IN THE HOUSE, waiting for the package, there was no delivery attempted. The people who work at this location are liars at best, and from what I hear from neighbors, thieves. They should be investigated.

I have yet to have a positive experience with this location. The people who work in the office are never very friendly and the carriers (mine in particular) are incompetent. Ive had things to be mailed sit in my mailbox (with the flag up) for days before its picked up. The reasoning is that they dont have to stop if they arent delivering anything. What is the point of having the flag then? Against my better judgment, I had a package shipped to my house instead of my office...big mistake! I received notification that it was delivered, but its no where to be found. I called the post office and was told that the carrier delivered it to the wrong address. Im pretty sure my name and address were written clearly on the package, so why did this happen? Im hopeful that whomever it was delivered to is nice enough to drop it in the mail to be sent to the correct address, but if not, who is going to pay me back for the item that my carrier negligently lost? If they can see that this location is consistently problematic, why arent they doing anything to correct the issues?

I read all of the horrible reviews here but alas, I thought it could be different. I am here to add to the growing list of complaints against this post office. These people hate customers. In the private sector, employees like this would be unemployed and fast. Only the US government would allow this kind of apathetic attitude and down right lazy demeanor. The USPS needs to collapse. It should have gone "out of business" a long time ago. These people clearly hate their jobs and have no problem letting the customers know it! In my recent experience, the lady behind the counter began talking about me to another employee (right in front of me). I called her out. I said, "Hello, I am right here. I can hear you talking about me! Do you think I am deaf?" The lady just rolled her eyes as if she really did not care. That is the point, these people do not care. Apathy = Death (as in the death of the USPS) I am thankful for the private sector. They know that without their customers, they do not exist.

Had absolutely the WORST customer experience in my entire life here. The girl at the desk was not only lazy and rude, but even the supervisor herself made absolutely no attempt to help. I was waiting for over 25 minutes to send out a simple package, which I was told the price. After the first girl literally walked off on me, leaving me to sit there unattended for over 10 minutes, another guy came over after I started to complain. He then proceded to charghe me nearly double what I was quoted before, and then got rude with me when I refused to pay it. I took my package and walked out. AVOID this post office, the reviews are all true. This place is god awful and I dnot understand how they are still in business after all these sub-par experiences. PLEASE Do yourself the favor and go further down Harford Rd to the next post office.

Two days in a row NO MAIL DELIVERY! As a law office, mail delivery is a vital link to my clients and the community, and that vital link is broken every time the mail is not delivered. Our regular postal delivery person is fine, and she makes a concerted effort to get us the mail even if no one is in the office. But when she has a substitute, suddenly there is an excuse for not delivering the mail. "Well the office looked closed" Or "there is no mail slot" Well guess what, since when is the fact that someone is not in the office an excuse for non delivery, and how is it that the regular postal carrier has no problem putting the mail under the door, but the substitute cannot seem to find the right place to put it. Bottom line, if this continues I am going to go straight up the chain of command until this gets addressed.
