True Colors is the only hair salon Ill ever go to now! Ive tried a few and theyre mediocre at best in quality and skill in comparison, and also doesnt touch True Colors in customer service and friendliness. Ive personally only had my hair done (cuts and complicated colors) by Aaron, but I dont doubt in any way that the quality is across the board based on what Ive seen. And everyone is always really friendly and warm and personable; its a very comfortable atmosphere. Theyre never pushy and always do their best to do exactly what you ask for, and if you dont know, theyll help you figure it out. Theyll make you a mug of coffee or tea (Keurig is there), and regularly have (often homemade) cookies or candies in the waiting area. Ive even gotten my friends and family to go, and they also dont go anywhere else anymore. Were all at least a 30 minute drive from True Colors also, but its totally worth it. In fact, I get compliments by OTHER random stylists on my hair when Im out and about, and theyve asked me where I go (most people ask where I go, but I think its especially notable when other hair stylists are impressed). Anyway, I cant speak more highly of it. If youre searching for a salon, seriously just go here. And no, I dont work there or am in any way related to anyone there; its just really that awesome.

FINALLY. So happy to have discovered this jewel. The joy, talent, and attention that has come to characterize True Colors for me and for so many other people is unique among salons. Though my most recent appointment was more than 6 months after my first, Heather, the only stylist Ill ever see--well grow old together, she and I-- remembered everything about my hair: not only what colors and what cut, but how to style it so that I look 10 years younger. Shes smart, skilled, effervescent, and tuned-in to the details and nuances I have a hard time expressing. She just seems to know what I want without me having to search for the words to say it. Upon my second visit, I would have to conclude the that the whole establishment is built upon this close attention to detail and making connections with customers. Im so lucky to have found True Colors. Oh! And, she didnt really have an appointment slot for me! She fit me in because it was my birthday! Thats service, folks!!

I cant say enough good things about True Colors. I discovered it when I first moved into the area five years ago. Id been going to a high priced Aveda salon in Columbia and hadnt really been happy with the cut or the color I was getting there. They did such a good job with me that I began taking my teenage son there. Hed been to countless barbers for a solution to the cowlicks he had that gave his hair a really bad look. Heather, my stylist at True Colors, was the first to listen to the issues Tyler had and so began a great look for him. Not only was Heather an excellent stylist, but she cared about my son. When he was hospitalized for cancer treatments, Heather came to his hospital room to cut his hair. Give this place a try - you wont be disappointed!

I have been doing my own hair for over 20 yrs. because I have never found anyone I could really trust to meet my high expectations. Lo and behold, FINALLY someone who is not only skilled, but listens and cares about making you feel completely satisfied. Ive seen Heather for 3 x now, and every time she has WOWED me. Regardless of the service, she has proven I can trust her even more than myself. The shop is VERY well managed and caters to its clients in every way. This lady is VERY impressed and really theres just too much to list. Products, pricing, scheduling, timing, atmosphere, friendliness and professionalism... are always something I can expect. Im not exaggerating in the least. True Colors is an absolute treasure find. Im SO grateful to have found it <3

Had my first visit with True Colors for a cut and color. Heather was my stylist and did a fantastic job. I wanted to make changes with my color and wasnt sure what direction to go in and also wanted to make changes to my cut. Heather went over several options and really wanted to make sure I was happy with whatever we did. Im very pleased with my cut and color and looking forward to having Heather as my new stylist. She even followed up with a phone call to make sure I was happy with my hair. Exceptional customer service!! Highly recommend this salon. :-)

This place was amazing. Kathy is the best. I just moved back into town and I have always been nervous about finding a new person to cut my hair however the moment I walked into the door all my nerves and fears were put at ease. Kathy listen to me she talk to me and she gave me the haircut that made me feel like myself again. It was by far one of the most wonderful experiences at a hair salon in a very long time. True Colors is a terrific salon with a team of professionals will make you feel special! The salon is clean and very welcoming. The staff is accommodating and welcoming. The level you would expect from any high end salon. My hair is board straight. There are many that think they can cut straight hair but they cant-- True Colors does and they did great! On top of that I had my hair colored and its terrific and makes me look even younger! Thank you True Colors

My experience has been wonderful - I usually am with Heather but have also used Aaron (sp?) - both are experienced and professional. The salon is clean, warm, friendly and decorated very nicely. There are always treats and coffee and tea available.
