I have been to Luxuria Salon and Spa several times. The first time I took a family member to get a message and myself a haircut. She said the message was great and I was pleased with my hair. The second time I went to get myself a message. I was thoroughly pleased with the message. The third and last time I went with a friend/co-worker to get updos for a special event later that evening. The website stated the price was, $65.00. Since I had several good experiences prior I recommended to my friend that we go there. Any professionalism I thought of Luxuria prior to this experience went out the window as soon as my hairstylist dropped all of the bobbypins on the floor and picked them up and put them in my hair..not cleaning them with water or replacing them. Then, when I went to pay and the price skyrocketed $20 more! When my friend and I explained on the website it stated $65, not $85, the employee blew us off and refused to sort this apparent confusion. My hair updo consisted of nothing more than putting my short/medium length hair ontop of my head, no washing/drying, etc. The following week I called the owner and she suggested I misunderstood the pricing and asked her why the additional $20 would consitute for only placing bobbypins and hairspray in my hair, nothing else, no washing, no drying, etc. She said the price started at $65. What would constitute a service to start at that price if my service was the most basic, perhaps a service of merely putting a persons hair in a ponytail would entitle it to be $65. The owner then stated she would refund the $20. However, the next day she refused. Professionalism exists at this salon perhaps by a few employees, definately not my hairstylist nor the owner. I am writing this to express my experience with this establishment and perhaps save some of you from dishing more than you will get here.

I always enjoy my time at Luxuria and feel like a whole new person when I leave. They treat their clients wonderfully...the staff is always welcoming, ready to answer questions, and helpful while making appointments. Kristin does my hair, and I always get compliments on the color and cuts. Rachel does a great job with waxing, facials and more. Gale and Megan are both skilled in making the nails get pretty. I do mainly pedis, and they are always helpful with picking colors and making my legs and feet feel like a million bucks. I see other stylists doing their thing and the clients always leave looking great. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

Katie has been cutting my hair for years & she is a true miracle worker. Before I met Katie, I had gone to another hair place in Ashton who actually burned my hair during the color process. When I thought it was helpless - Katie fixed/recut/super power conditioned my hair - she totally saved the day & turned a horrible situation into a good experience. Everyone at the salon has been very nice, welcoming and professional - I always walk out of the salon feeling great about my hair experience. The only negative is that their rates can be a bit pricy but they are totally worth the results.

Recently received a gift card from two friends & went for my first visit today ... it was wonderful! The property is lovely, the staff who greeted me were very warm & welcoming, and the service was excellent! It was a pleasure to meet Megan, who made a very lovely & relaxing afternoon for me ... my fingers & toes are oh so very happy -- you have a new "regular" customer :) Thx!

I highly reccomend this salon and especially Jewel. I used to have to go back to New York to get such a professional cut and color. And dont get me started on her makeup skills! She has make me look like I was airbrushed on a Vogue cover for a few special occasions. I also agree that the relaxed and friendly feeling of the salon is a big plus.

Went in to color my hair for the first time ever. Everything was explained step by step, and I got exactly what I hoped for and more! Many compliments!! Everyone was extremely hospitable and made you feel at home. Overall a very positive atmosphere!

This salon is professionally run as a business. It is a small space, but feels very cozy, warm and inviting. Coffee and snacks are available while you wait. Parking could be better, but overall a great experience!
