If I had a choice to give them no stars I would do just that. But my experience with this company has been a total nightmare. First they were suppose to build a porch for me but I had to change the project because I had gotten a dog and I needed a fence. They were going to charge me about $10,000 for the porch once I asked them could I get a fence built instead they still charged me $10,000. Me being so excited about the fence I went along with it. The project started around July of last year. I needed to cancel the project shortly after because a family member had passed away and the money that I had saved up went towards the home going services. Nick Caperna one of the owners had gotten his sales person to repeatedly call me so I could restart the project and they stated they would work with me. I decided to let them do the job and I would do the payment plan as they stated. They made me put a deposit down first and the site clearly states that no money is put down until the job is finished. Once the privacy fence started being built I noticed that it was being done backwards. I called Nick about and he immediately got upset and said "If you dont like it then you should have taken off work to watch us do it" I immediately got upset. Im a paying customer and I was a first time homeowner so having this add on was big for me. After I told him I was going to give him a bad review he softened his tone and started being nice. The materials that were used were extremely cheap. My white fence that they built can be picked up out of the ground and it wobbles. My 6ft fence wobbles as well and it has fallen apart numerous times. The wood on the privacy fence has expanded and I cant close the doors. They didnt even stain the fence. The handle fell off and one of the doors fell off on the privacy fence. And on the white fence it can be lifted out of the ground with one hand. I have repeatedly sent pictures they come out to fix it half way then start demanding money. This fence is no where near worth over $10,000. Back in November I placed a review on this page about my experience with this company and Nick called me threatening to take me to court because I put his name in the review little does he know I major in law and the judge would laugh in his face over something like that. If you have a business you have to be prepared for people to give reviews and state the truth. He asked me to take it down and I did because he said he would make everything right. Lies all lies!!!! About three weeks ago the foreman Mike came to the house to look over the fence so I could show him all of the problems with the fence. He clearly stated that the guy didnt put enough cement but he was the guy that built the fence. Mike pointed out all the things wrong with the fence and blamed it on someone else when he clearly was the guy that build the fence in the first place. A week later Nick came back to my house with Mike to make any additional repairs. Nick stood in my front yard and said his business partners didnt care about me being satisfied with the work I just need to pay them. Nick has down talked me and belittled me on more then one occasion and I have given him the benefit of the doubt but at this point I am tired of him and the company. I sent him an email stating just that. Yesterday while i was tending to a family emergency he came to my property and harassed my house guest. I called him to find out what was going on and he acted like he didnt know what was going on. Then he stated it was his lawyer outside of my home taking pictures of the fence which didnt make any since. He started cursing at me and talking over me stating that i was stupid and what i was saying was stupid. I advised that the call was being recorded and he changed his tone a little then hung up. Once i got home i checked my security cameras and it was Nick. Now Im stuck with a terrible looking fence. I could have gotten the people that stand outside of Home Depot to do this job for way less and a better outcome as far as customer service and quality work.

Im not gonna lie, I was not super enthused about getting a new roof. But now that it is done I would like to share my experience. After talking to three companies I choose Allied Remodeling. My main reason for choosing Allied over their competitors was their low pressure friendly approach, lifetime warranty, price, and the fact that my neighbor used them a few years ago and couldnt say enough nice things about them. The process was painless. I called, the person who answered was professional and nice, she had a sales person reach out to me within an hour. The sales person came out to see me two days later, inspected my roof, gave me a good price, and let me decide without piling on the unnecessary BS. The one thing I did appreciate was that when I asked about how much life my roof had left he said that he estimate a few years but could not be certain. He did say he recommended replacing sooner than later because there were soft spots which are indicators of rotted wood. The other two companies made it seem that the next rain fall would be coming in my living room. I scheduled the job and the crew showed up on time. The lead person on the job showed me pictures of where my roof was rotted through and even showed me the wood after it was removed. They finished in one day. There was no evidence (other than a beautiful new roof) that they were ever there. All of my patio furniture and BBQ were returned to the exact spot and everything was cleaner than before they started. The lead person on the job also informed me that my gutters were full with leaves and that he cleaned all of them out. When I got the bill I questioned it because it was $250 less than the estimate. I was told that there was less rotted wood than anticipated so it dropped the cost. My neighbor told me that they were in business for 20 years and it shows. What a nice professional operation Allied is. My only regret is that Allied only specializes in roofs so I cant use them for other projects I have. My neighbor referred them to me so I feel obligated to pay it forward. Here you go. Thanks Team Allied.

The worst company ever. Jeff gave us the quote to replace the windows in my home. He seemed very nice and knowledgeable, but when the work was to be done its a whole different story. A chinese man came to measure the windows, I dont know what he was saying and he didnt know what I was saying. the day of the work, they told me they would be here in the morning. At about 12:00, noon, they showed up. 5 Hispanic men showed up to do the work, I have no problem with this. The started to work and they were smoking in my yard and throwing their cigarette butts all over my yard. I let them continue to work and cleaned my truck to stay out of the way. I went inside my house to find my flat panel TV had been scratched, there were rust stains on my carpet; from where they laid their tools, they got caulk on my carpet, and didnt even caulk all the way around the windows. My coffee table was nicked when they carried in the windows, my dresser was also scratched. They told me that the job would take one (1) day, the work was not completed and now they want to come back tomorrow to mess up my house some more. To fix the carpet they took a razor knife and cut a piece of my carpet out, the carpet was installed about 4 months ago. Are these guys serious? I called Jeff to explain the problems and he said, without even coming out to look, "there is no damage to your house" when I insisted that there was he talked over me and then when I didnt listen and continued my sentence he hung up on me. Jeff is a piece of trash and I will never do business with him or anyone that he is affiliated with. Please be careful, he is a smooth talker and then a snake. They also operate under the name Maryland home exteriors Inc.
