I have gone to Quickline in Action twice now, and both times they found costly repairs both times. First time (Aug 2011) was for brakes, and it ended up costing over $1000 after using many of my old parts. Im pretty sure it would have been cheaper to replace everything... So I feel like that was too much, but i decided that may have been a fluke. They gave me a credit for the breaks and I foolishly returned recently (Feb 2012). I needed an inspection and an oil change. They ended up charging my $900+ for "necessary repairs." Which included a FOG light, a torn boot, a wheel bearing, and 2 new tires (which they were supposed to call me about, but they just decided to put on whatever fit) . When I arrived to pick up the car they showed me the torn boot but I dont know how much damage there really was when it was on the car. I feel like they look for anything they can to jack up your bill every time you go in there. For that reason, I will not be going back. On the plus side, everyone there is professional and they place is very clean. But if I want that environment Ill just go to the dealer. At lest then I know Im being screwed from the start, not have it sprung on me after the fact.

Went in for an oil change and state inspection August 2013. The staff appeared friendly, but I cant say theyre good people after trying to screw me. They failed me for tires, claiming all 4 were too worn. They printed out some quotes for tires, total came to anywhere from $900-$1200. I took the car to 2 garages and 2 other inspection stations. Not one of my tires is under the requirement. The first inspection station PASSED my tires/ entire inspection, the second agreed that the tires were worn but certainly passable, and that Ive probably got another 6-7 months on the tires. All 4 locations quoted tire replacement at $200-$300 cheaper. I will be reporting this location to the MASS DMV as it is illegal for an inspection station to do this sort of thing and they do not deserve the right to try this to others. They must have seen me, a young well-dressed professional in a nice sports car, and assumed I had plenty of money to waste on tires I didnt really need. I will not be going back and I would never recommend them to anybody.

Got 4 new tires. When I arrived home I noticed the alloy wheels were definitely scratched (in areas that would be consistent with wheel mounting machines). Also, the wheels were covered in grease, tires and wheel edges covered in wax used for mounting, and two tire inflation valve caps were missing. I hope that the disregard for how my wheels were treated, as well as the lack of cleanliness, is not a reflection of the quality of the work. I dont see myself going back there unless I have a problem with the 4 new tires I just got. The men that were doing the actual work looked extremely young, and one of the front desk guys told me they were training to be technicians. One positive - the front desk guys were extremely courteous, professional, and seemed to know a lot about car repairs. The waiting area is very nice (especially in comparison to Town Fair in Billerica). Will not go back.

I might go back. On my way to work a pothole blew out one of my tires, so after putting on the spare I went to Quick Lane of Acton. They took it in but said they did not have any openings as it was right before Thanksgiving. I asked if I could just leave it, and the next morning they called me and it was all set. Awesome, A+! But, when I got home I inspected the car, and noticed that my back seat which was clean when I brought it in, was covered in the mud from the busted tire. I called them after Thanksgiving and they said I could bring it in again. It took an hour but they did clean my back seat thoroughly and my car is all set. Everyone there was pleasant, but their disrespect for my vehicle is a big one to me, and I may/may not go back. Overall, they did fix the tire as expected so I cant complain there.

My wildly positive experience here prompted me to write my first Google review. On Christmas Eve I managed to shear my tire against a stone. We had guests coming in two hours and I knew I had to get the tires fixed or replaced ASAP as shops were closing for the holiday. After a few calls to shops that were already closed, I called Quick Lane and they told me they were open and happy to help. My car limped over. A quick assessment told us that the tire was shot. At this point they could have sold me a tire that didnt match the new ones I already had. Instead, they recommended I get a matching Michelin elsewhere (they didnt have it in stock) and offered to put on the spare at no cost. Service and honesty beyond compare. Well done!

I took my car into Quicklane in Acton to get an oil change and a general check-up on the vehicle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After they had done the oil change and checked the vehicle, they gave me a quick but informative explanation of areas that may need servicing in the future. However, they never tried to pressure me into anything, just gave me the facts and let me decide. The price was great and I couldnt be happier. Ill be taking my car there again soon.

Despite "no appointment is needed" I have seldom been able to walk in and get an oil change there. I gave up on them and went back getting an appointment at a dealer. It seems most of their work is all day drop offs, since there was nobody in the waiting room, even when they said they were busy.

Ive had a few oil changes done here, as well as recent tire service. The staff here is very courteous, thorough, and accommodating. I could have gotten my tire a little cheaper elsewhere, but same day service won me over. I trust them with my Explorer.

They damaged my car and are not taking responsibility. Not good.
