Ive been to Zaks half a dozen times over the years. First, just for regular maintenance, and then for some repairs. They recently moved and their new location is an amazing upgrade (not that their prior location was uncomfortable either). Their work area is much much bigger, so I imagine their ability to handle lots of work will be better - they always seemed to be really busy and backed up in their old location. They have a much larger waiting area now with a couch, TV, Wi-Fi, work bar (with phone chargers), complementary beverages and snacks, and rest rooms. Couldnt ask for anything better when waiting. Regarding their work, they never seem to do more than what they need to do. Theyve replaced a headlight sensor for me, repaired my brakes, worked on my friends car multiple times. Today Im in for an inspection and they showed me an issue with my exhausted rusting out, so it is currently getting repaired. I feel their prices are fair, they are very pleasant, and obviously, they know how to run a business and expand. Will be back (hopefully for regular maintenance more so than repairs) when my 9 yr old car needs more service.

I went there to get an oil change and to fix a broken gas cap which I believed to be the source of a check engine light on the car. They were more expensive than the dealer for the oil change, but I didnt want to go to the dealer for the check engine light at the risk of being pushed to drop lots of money on something I probably wouldnt trust. So tried Zaks. When there, I used a Yelp coupon to save $25. They also price matched the dealer on the oil change which saved me another $25. Finally, without charging me, they checked all the codes from the check engine thing and verified which codes needed addressing and which were faulty (no evidence when checking the engine visually). Did you catch that? They didnt charge me, they just wanted to make sure everything was fine and see if anything really needed attention. Turned out that all was well (with new gas cap). So, I got an oil change, a new gas cap, piece of mind, wonderful and honest service in addition to a great price. If they keep this up, this will be my regular spot for both my cars for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend you try them out.

Found Zaks from recommendations on google and have to agree that they are a great, reliable and trustworthy operation. I had loud road noise and shaking in the front end and had Town Tire do a complete tire rotation, spin balance and alignment. The noise and shaking was even worse. They told me I had to get new ball joints in both front ends. Took it over to Zaks and told them I needed new ball joints. They inspected and said the tires were cupped and needed to be replaced. Something Id think a tire store would have been "expert" in diagnosing. Luckily I had two in the garage that were in good shape and Zaks changed them out and made sure everything was working. <$50 vs. hundreds. Im going to be taking all my cars to Zaks from here on. Going to replace Town Tire for new tires and alignments as well.

I called Zaks to setup an appointment to have my Audi looked at. Spoke with Kristie and she was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. They were able to get me right in the following day. The mechanic was able to figure out what the problem was and Kristie called me to go over the issue and what the cost would be before they started the repairs. They were able to get it all wrapped up the same day so I was only without a car for that day. The service and staff were great and their prices were very reasonable. I will definitely go back again for service and refer my friends and family.

Just had a suspension lift installed. Couldnt be happier with the work and the service. Everyone at Zaks was friendly and helpful. EDIT 10/27/2014: Just to follow up, Ive made Zaks Auto my go-to shop now. Ill bring my truck and other vehicles there going forward. Friendliest staff and knowledgeable crew. Ive dropped my truck for service, and waited for shorter appointments. The waiting area is comfortable and homey, with couches, TV and WiFi and fresh-baked cookies!

I needed to replace a balljoint then get an inspection. I bought a groupon for an inspection for $40 and they charged me another for for the inspection. One out of three bulbs in my rear brake light was out but they never told me. They put 1 new bulb in and charged me $60 for it (their hourly rate was $60/hr). I contacted the office to question the charges but they never responded. I guess instead of the motto Live Free or Die in NH it should say Live Free and Get Screwed.

Oif GT3

I have been having all my familys vehicles (6) serviced by Zaks for 4 years. I am so happy that someone recommended them to me. They have been honest and strait forward about everything from day one. From an oil change for my wifes Scion to major engine work on my Porsche GT3, I could not be happier with everyone there and the work they do. They will take their time and explain everything in detail to ensure that I am satisfied.

Ive been using Zaks for at least 3 years now and have referred several other satisfied customers. They had the expertise to handle all 5 of my vehicles including a Prius, a Hyundai, 2 VWs (diesels) and a classic Porsche 911. More importantly, they always worked hard to find the least costly solution to every problem and have handled every transaction and communication with outstanding customer service. Highly recommend!

Zak and his crew have been delivering honest and top notch service to my car for about 6 months. He is always friendly and up front in the issues Ive had with my car, and Kristi at the front desk is extremely helpful and friendly, remembering my name and what service Ive had done recently. Great experience, fantastic staff! Ive been looking for a good solid mechanic ever since I moved to Nashua and I have finally found one. I have been bring my Hondas to the dealer for service for the past 14 years but never again. Zaks saved me over $300 on a job quoted by the dealer. I got the car back on time and it was done right the first time! I highly recommend them.

Please bring your car there! The staff is very hands on, friendly, and honest. They are always willing to work with you on your needs, offer a car rental option as well, and you can log on using their WIFI if that best suits your needs, and just wait for your car instead. I have been going there for approximately 3-4 years, and Im really happy bringing my car there.
