I dont normally write online reviews, but I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to this shop for repair. My rear brakes went on my car today and I was in dire need of immediate repair. Louie, his wife and his staff are fast, friendly and great at what they do. He made the repairs at a fair price, but what motivated me to write this review was the fact that he kept the shop open late to get the repairs done for me so I wouldnt be stranded without a car. I walked over to the pizza shop next door, and about 90 minutes later, they called me and said I could pick the car up. I could not be more pleased by my experience at this mechanic shop and urge anyone in need of maintenance to bring their vehicle to Louie!

Brother referred me to Louie and now I refer everyone I know. Honest repairs of what needs fixing. They actually troubleshoot and try to fix things rather than just replacing entire systems. You can bring your own parts and just pay an extra $15/hr for labor if that works for you. Customer service is excellent. Couldnt drive my 5-speed stick shift vehicle home due to a broken left foot. They drove it to my home in town without hesitation, no charge. Great people, great mechanics. Highly recommended!

Louies is the best garage Ive ever been to. Ive been a customer for 10 years. They are totally honest and do an excellent job. They also checked out a used car before I bought it and gave me great advice. I once strayed and went to a garage closer to home and I regretted it tremendously--got totally taken, so Im back to Louies for good--its worth the extra 25 minutes to get there.

Took my car in for a number of items. They charged about 30% less and were faster than what the dealership quoted, they identified another issue that another mechanic caused and quickly/cheaply fixed it, and they were completely pleasant to work with. Will return, and if this level of service persists, theyll have a customer for life and someone who will recommend them to others.

I live out of state and my daughter is a student at URI. In the past three years I have had to have her car fixed 3 seperate times and I would highly reccomend Louies auto repair. They have been 100% professional and have always tried to save us money. They have kept me informed and made great suggestions on the best approach to save money. THEY ARE GREAT!

Very cool shop and friendly people. It was hard to find (behind the John Deere tractor shop with the entrance on the side road). The mechanic that replaced the cat. back exhaust was young and energetic. He had no problem when I asked him to apply the rust resistant, high-temp paint on the replaced parts. I will take my business to them next time.

Solid guys, honest work. I wish I had found them sooner. They fix the car and dont try to sell you stuff you dont need. The charges seemed more than reasonable. Not the neatest shop, but I wish more car repair shops treated me the way this auto repair shop in Wakefield has. You wont go wrong.
