I totally loveeee Amaci Salon, when i first entered the girl at the counter was extremely pleasent and sweet... then this very nice Moraccan girl shampooed my hair and massaged it too! awesome.. then the owner Amad cut my hair and people let me tell you.. my hair were below my waist i hadnt ever had a haircut since the age of 11 and i am 25 now.. so i go in.. and blindly trust Amad with my hair... he gave me the most fabulous haircut that I could ever get.. he layered my hair and gave me tips on how I should color it.. there was no pressure to buy products or do any additional servies.. the guy is really good he is such a pro and expret and give honest advise... my hair have so much movement and are east to maintain... i live in florida but I know I will fly every weeks to boston just only to get a haircut from Amad.. he is the man.... and then the morcannan girl also gave me a fantastic blow dry after leaving the salon, i felt hot and sexy and trendy and i sure did turn quite a few heads at the subway and at school (Harvard) my husband is in the military when he got back he loved the new meeeeeeeeeeeee!!! made my day even more.. even though they started to get really busy they gave me personalized attention both Amad and the moracan girl.. gosh i wish i knew her name,, she even makes nails and does threading ( better then waxing eye brows) I love Amaci Salon.. totally worth it.. totally.. dont go to some other place and ruin it for yourself.. i swear regardless of the mixed reviews i went there and it was the best thing i could do to my self!!!!! love ittttttttttttttt Thanks Amad.. Before coming to Amaci, I usually just surfed Groupon for a cut-and-dry deal every time I needed a touchup. Normally, yes, Im that cheap. However, my first time at Amaci made this something Im willing to spend $$ on. The woman who was scheduled for my appointment was not free yet, so the owner Amad took over. He was simultaneously extremely responsive and willing to offer his professional opinions--both of which, indecisive and conservative as I usually am, I greatly appreciated. He spent nearly an hour on my thin, fine, heat-damaged hair, and managed not only to get rid of the damage but also to put more life and body into it than Ive seen in months and/or years--without doing anything extremely drastic. I left feeling like a million bucks. When the time came to search Groupon again, I made the decision to go back to Amaci and Amad. Ive made the decision twice now and not looked back--he is wonderful! He listens and makes recommendations and on top of that, he shows a genuine interest in conversation (weve all sat in the chair and answered questions that neither party cares about the answer to). As for the salon itself, it is clean and well-decorated and everyone Ive encountered is polite and accommodating. In sum, I am a Groupon-er turned loyal Amaci client. I have yet to leave feeling less than wonderful about my experience and my appearance--Five stars, all round!

I never usually write online reviews, but I was in the process of scheduling an appointment to have my hair cut by Amad this week, and I really felt inclined to leave a review that reflected how I feel after I leave his chair. I can not go back to a barber shop after the way my haircut came out at Amaci. Due to the course texture of my hair, which is naturally wavy, Im used to going out of my way explaining to the person cutting my hair EXACTLY how I want it, and then being unsatisfied because the end result was nothing like I wanted, and usually wayy too much hair was chopped off...theres no worse feeling then after a bad haircut, and then waiting for your hair to grow back. The first time I sat in Amads chair, I started explaining the style I was envisioning, and he assured me that he knew exactly what I wanted -- and he was right! I have no need to ever go back to a barber shop... for the same price, I can have my hair washed, shampooed, and cut/styled by Amad Saab. Oh -- his entire staff are out of their way friendly too! The receptionist always offers me a beverage & magazine, and I have had other services performed as well such as eyebrow waxing & threading. Amaci is a 5 Star salon, which I score a 10 out of 10 !!!

I originally came in for the brazilian wax Groupon that I found online, but ended up getting my hair cut as well, as they offered 20% for new customers. From the first moment of walking in, I was already impressed with the salon. Friendly, clean, and extremely hospitable. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and polite. I hadnt gotten my hair cut in a year because I was too scared to find someone that would butcher my hair, as has happened a few times in Boston before... This is my favorite haircut I have ever gotten. See Laura! She is the best!! As for the brazilian wax experience - the best. I have gone to several places in Boston on Newbury St, and in Wellesley, and nothing compared to the cleanliness and professionalism of the girl - Anna - who works there. She was so quick I couldnt believe it. It took her only 30 minutes to do a full brazilian wax, something that took over an hour at all the other places, all much more painful and uncomfortable. This is definitely my new favorite salon in Boston, I would 100% recommend it to everyone!

I had a KERITIN treatment and haircut last week with AMAD. I have had Keritin done in the past but this one is the absolute best yet. Amad was sooooo patient and did a thorough job and the cut I had is phenomenal. I can just wash and wear this cut and every piece of hair falls perfectly. I strongly recommenced Amad for either of these service. I am a picky client and Amad made me feel at ease quickly. There is a happy buzz around the place. I also referred my mother that day to another stylist Dailine, Dailine specializes in curly DEVA cuts.......My mother was so happy with the special care and results, and because of her curly hair she has had bad experiences in the past but Dailine was a nice refreshing surprise. Best of all because I referred my mom I received 20% off my services.....It was Win/Win. I will be referring all my friends there......and get my referral discount......

I bought a deal for $15 for $30 worth of waxing services. I went in and got a Brazilian wax, which was done extremely quickly by Anna. Decent wax, but I was surprised and upset when I went to pay the $5 difference (their website said a Brazilian wax was $35), and was told it was actually $55. I argued and told them the website said $35, and a man who seemed like the owner said to charge me that amount. I paid and ran to an ATM to get $$ for tip, but when I came back they said the cost is $55 and I had to pay the difference. Totally awful customer service. Their website said one thing, they said another. I paid and then came back to drop off a tip, and was told I had to pay more! I should not have even gone back to drop off the tip to Anna, who was actually very off-putting. She waited around to see how much I gave her. I will not be going back again. EVER!
