My car accident was a miserable experience. My brand new Mazda 3 was victim to a hit and run in the middle of the night and then Mazda, the manufacturer, could not locate the parts needed for months. This was my first time needing a mechanic since moving to East Boston, I took a shot with first class based on other reviews. The reviews were all correct, first class auto body was truly amazing. My car was brand new and we were told by Mazda they did not have the necessary parts in stock that were needed to fix my car – they had no expected arrival date and simply told us we needed to wait. Neither Mazda nor the insurance company seemed interested in helping at all, the dealership that sold me the car told me to try to get the car totaled, rather than deal with fixing it. The damage was definitely extensive as my car was parked when hit directly in the rear driver side area, the door and bumper were crushed, the wheels were bent in and the collision caused my car to lift onto the sidewalk where the passenger side collided with a city parking sign. First class was proactive and helpful they said all along they were confident they could fix the car, it was just a matter of locating all of the necessary parts. They communicated with me almost weekly and were very active in trying to locate the parts from Mazda – they called Mazda themselves repeatedly asking for the parts. Jim was always honest and upfront with me, my car was in their shop for almost three months waiting for parts and he continued to provide status updates and showed honest effort and intentions in getting my car fixed asap. When the parts finally came in Jim indicated to me that my car would be priority number one and he would work to get it ready to go as quickly as possible. As we neared completion Jim again communicated with me almost daily as he wanted to make sure the car was perfect when ready. I Could not believe how the car looked when I finally picked it up. My wife and I both noted that it looked exactly as it did the first day we got it, maybe even shinier. The car was spotless inside and out and drove perfectly. Would recommend this shop to anyone in need of honest and good work. Tons of appreciation to Jim and the rest of the shop for the help, professionalism and communication and of course the quality of the work!

I wish it was first class customer service. I dropped my car off with a damaged bumper and an estimated week of repairs, only to find out on the estimated completion day that no parts arrived at the auto body shop and they were still working on it. Which is a major problem since Im an Uber driver and use this car for work. So I was told that my car would be done by the following week (today). Just called them first thing in the morning of my newly scheduled completion day and now theyre still working on the car and "hope" to have it done by tomorrow. Clearly this is a giant problem since I have been out of work for 2 weeks now due to the slow progress on the car and havent been able to support my family. I plan to call again later today to make sure its done by tomorrow, which is now 2 weeks since I dropped the car off at the shop. I understand it could be difficult getting parts for a brand new 2017 car but just making up completion dates not only messed up my work schedule but might just leave me homeless due to lack of income. Very disappointing.

6 out of 5 stars . if you have to get your car fixed this is the place to go . it was ready a week early the customer service was totally on top of it everyone there was so nice to me and so professional. And to make it over the top the car was totally detailed and cleaned also! There was extensive almost total damage and it feels like new again! Thank you so much Eric is very nice and all the people there are very nice and professional and helpful. Absolutely everything was first class loaner cars available at my convenience. It was all about customer service and convenience for the customer. Thank you so much! He even came out to my car when I forgot my hat so sweet.

1st Class Auto Body is an exceptional business with great caring employees. Have used them handful of times already and each time has had great results. They went out of their way this time around to accommodate us with a rental after having an issue with another rental while they are fixing our vehicle. Jim even had a mechanic come out after hours to try to assist us. Wont be using anyone else in the future!! Thanks again 1st Class!!! :)
