They said he would arrive between 9 - 10 am this morning. Didnt happen! I called and they said someone would get back to me. After 20 minutes I called again since no one returned the call. I asked for a simple ETA but they couldnt give me that. Its like they didnt care. Its 10:38 am and hes still not here. As for their work, I wont know until he comes--that will be my second post!! I simply wanted a courtesy call to let me know that hell be late--they couldnt do that. 2nd Post: Guy arrived just short of 11:00 AM. Had the wrong apt. number, but I happened to be waiting in the lobby so was able to let him in. Finished the job in 5 minutes! It was a very simple job. I didnt have a choice in choosing this company, because Im just a tenant, so the landlord had to call. Based on this experience, I could and would not recommend this company. Frankly, I dont mind if someone is late as long as youre made aware of that. Its like your time doesnt matter at all; well get there when we get there. That attitude sucks!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING COMPANY! After accidentally slamming my door I broke the lock to my apartment and was trapped inside. I was in a rush to get to a meeting and didnt know who to turn too. Brookline lock popped up on my google search, and when I called said "No worries we will be right over". They showed up almost instantaneously, fixed the issue even quicker, and upgraded my locks to make my apartment more secure. Even better they charged a fair rate, and didnt take advantage of this desperate situation. I will only call Brookline because they care about the everyday person.

I highly recommend Brookline Lock!!! I was in search of a Locksmith that could install door hardware on a multifamily building I own in Newton. I was amazed with how friendly and knowledgeable the team at Brookline Lock was. The finished product was beyond what I could have ever expected! Knowledgeable, helpful, and really decent folks. The store has everything you need, and if not, theyll get it for you. I ordered special hinges for a large barn door. Ones that I had searched for at Home Depot, Lowes, and on the internet. Would have saved myself hours had I just walked over and asked for help. Its an old time mom & pop store of yesteryear w/ service and expertise. Another reason why the neighborhood is so special.

Not good- had to go back to him twice and my key still doesnt work. $117 service charge if they come to your place to help you. Ridiculous.
