Outrageous prices, bad service. They tried to take advantage of a single mother who had no choice but to go to them. I broke down near here 8/14 and asked them if they could run the check engine light and possibly do an oil change. I had to leave the truck over night since no one was available to do either. They open at 9am, I called at 9:02am 8/15/14 to ask how much a diagnostic would be before they did it. I was informed that they were already doing the diagnostic (2 minutes into your day?) and that my bill was $180 already. I was told it would be a "several hundred dollar job" before they had even hooked it up to run the light.I told them not to do a thing, I was coming to get my car because I knew I was being ripped off. The manager called back to debate with me and tried to tell me to never come back... Of course Im not coming back! They did keep their tone professional while I told them where to go, so they get a star for that. Ran the light myself, its an O2 sensor. I stood up for myself and didnt get ripped off, watch it with them.

I love going there. Toby and Liz are awesome to deal with. As a female I am used to being patted on the head when I am trying to describe what my van is doing. As if being a girl I have no idea what I am talking about (bet any female here reading this can relate to what I am saying). Never in all the years that I have used Falmouth Motor Car in Cataumet have I ever run into that attitude. The technicians there do a great job. Leaves your car clean unlike other places that dont seem to care if they get your floor mats greasy. I recommend Falmouth Motor to all of my friends. - Paula Caravella

I called to see if they were open and how long it would take to get my car inspected a little after 11. They said it would take 15 minutes. Didnt bother mentioning theyd be closed in less than an hour. I was out running errands and when I pulled up they wouldnt serve me because they closed at noon. My thought in my head was Id really lost track of time, but not that badly because when I got back in my car it was 12:01.

I didnt have a regular mechanic on the Cape. I have now found one.... Joe and his staff at Falmouth Motorcar! Their knowledge of my vehicle and willingness to listen to my concerns was superior!! No matter how small or how big, my car will be serviced only by Falmouth Motorcar.

Friendly, courteous service, work was done quickly and thoroughly, provided me with written estimates for work that needed to be addressed, price was competitive. Car service and repairs are generally a drag but, this experience was believe it or not pleasant.

Theyve been servicing my cars for years and years, in fact, 5 of them. Some of my cars were new and still under dealer warranty. One of them I took to them after trying 3 different GM dealers and they were the only one who could tune the car up properly.

Quality work at fair prices. Like the 3yrs/36 month warranty on the parts, luckily in the past few years going to Falmouth Motor Car I have never brought back a car after work was done. It was always done right the first time.
