At first they were really friend and kind, but after a whle they negglect you and dont communicate. I has a trainer and he was great until he was promoted and I never heard from hi again. Then if you want to cancel forget it. My wife an I went down there and Wednesday at 8pm to cancel and they said they could not cance the membership because the manager the only one allowed to do this and he just left. I remember they ws no problem signing me up at this time, also if you are a 24 hour gym should there not be a manager on to handle things and also cater to people who free time can only be at night, that is why you would apply to a 24hr gym. the nex 2 day I went there to cancel my wife and my membership but my wife was not with me since she has work in the morning and after that she has school until 11pm at night. They told me that I could not do it for her even I brought a letter in with her signature on saying to cancel. They said it has to be certified mail, so I went and follow the rules after that we get a phone call stating they can not cancel the membership because of the early termination fee of $100 dollars, which is pricey but understandable, my question was why could they not charge the credit card that was on file that they took in or is it okay for me to come down and just pay it. The general manager Jason said no he could not, and that my wife would have to come down and cancel it. I told him that its hard because of my wife situation. He ask if she could transfer it to someone else. I told him no. He then implies "between work and school there is nobody she can transfer it to." That is when I became upset. Now to my understanding that you can transfer an account without her being there but you cant cancel it. So I told him that I would cancel threw my credit card and then he has the nerve to tell me that it will go into collections and I will never be able to buy a house and car again. So I hung up. Then I call him back to tell him he was being rude and he told me I was being rude. then he told me like before that I could send another Certified letter with a check. So spend another $4 to cancel this. I ask him if there will be a manager there on Saturday. He told me that yes he is there everyday. Not all time. So I would not recommend this gym to anyone, they are nice at first just to wheel you in, but when you in or leaving, forget it. How does he know when my wife was finish with school I would not have sign back up. I would reccommend going to Planet Fitness, just sign my step-son because it was closer to us, no contract and also if you do get a contract the cancelation fee is $58, that is about 50% less then Best fitness cancelation fee, also they are a real 24hr gym, not 24hrs durning the week and the weekends 7 to 7. I mean when you advertise 24hrs it means 24hrs.

Offers everything you need to get in shape. Ive held memberships to a number of gyms, such as Pumping Up, Golds Gym, TGA Nautilus and Anytime Fitness, to name a few, for the past 25 years, so Im no stranger to working out at various health club facilites. My fiance and I joined Best Fitness in Chelmsford (Drum Hill) a few months prior to its grand opening, to take advantage of the $9.99 per month membership fee. I have a gym at my place of business that I use weekdays, so I work out at Best Fitness on the weekends. Compared to other gyms Ive been to, I can say with certainty that Best Fitness offers its members the best of everything; a brand new state-of-the-art facility, with ample number of cardio machines, nautilus equipment and free-weights, convenient hours of operation, at a very low cost of $9.99 per month. When I arrive at Best Fitness, Im welcomed by a desk person whose primary function, from what I can tell, is to ensure that only paying members enter the faciltity. This person is friendly and welcoming, but not overly so. Most gyms Ive been to are self-service facilities, and Best Fitness isnt any different. There are a few people behind the desk and roaming the floor to provide assistance if need be, but these people arent following you around the facility, or there to serve as a free personal trainer. The facility is large, and although there are a fairly substantial number of members at Best Fitness on any given Saturday or Sunday before noon, theres never a long wait for a bench, machine, or piece of equipment. Ive been to hardcore muscle gyms (i.e. Pumpin Up), and wouldnt consider Best Fitness to be hardcore by any means, with an even mix of muscle heads, gym rats and newbies all looking to get into shape. After noon, the facility starts to empty out, which may be some peoples preference, but I enjoy the energy of a busy gym because it motivates me to work a bit harder. At $9.99 per month, Best Fitness offers more benefits to its members than many gyms costing 2-4 times that price. In short, if youre looking to get in shape for short money, Best Fitness is worth a look see. i believe they also offer a 14-day free trial, so you can try it at no cost or obligation. If the owner is reading this review, I think better use of the entrance would be to add a juice bar and/or vending machines with nutrition bars, health snacks and drinks. Also, the cardio area (treadmills & steppers) could benefit from a water fountain as the one water fountain you have is inconveniently located way on the other side of the facility. As for the weight room, Id like to see the addition of a bench for decline bench presses. Thanks.

Staff is rude and gym is overcrowded. I had been going there two years when I decided to cancel my membership. One of the first things that made me not want to continue going there was that I had to constantly wait 20 minutes for a treadmill. Its very very overcrowded there. After that I decided I might be better off taking classes - I took an aerobics class and there was a big splotch of blood (like from a bloody nose) on the floor. I told the aerobics instructor and the manager. the next day the blood was still there. I didnt go to classes again for a month and the next time I went - the blood was still there. I ended up mentioning it to my friend on the city health board and she finally got someone to go in there and make sure it was cleaned up. The staff is also very rude. One day I went to a yoga class and the instructor was 30 mins late...a few women from the class went to the front desk to ask if the class is cancelled and she said "I dont know where your instructor is..why dont you teach the class yourself."....then I had had enough and just decided to cancel all together. I went down and a very very overly muscular man with tatoos was at the front desk. I said, "Id like to cancel my membership please."...the man said very rudely, "You cant today, I dont have time.". I very nicely said , "You dont have time to cancel it quicky please?" and he rolled his eyes and filled out a form and said "Fine. Why do want to cancel?".. and i said "Im not happy with the service here." and he said again beng very rude" Youre not happy with the service? whats that supposed to mean?!" and laughed. i said "I dont like going here." and he rolled his eyes and then turned away from me to talk to another man and said very loudly "Someone is cancelling and being very frustrating right now" and then said that I was a B***H under his breathe and both men laughed. Ive never been treated so awful in my life. My husband continued to go there and then finally cancelled as well after another overly muscular guy saw my husband lifting weights and said "Is that your workout? What a joke , why dont you go ride a bike and let the men lift here."...My husband couldnt believe his ears and said something to the mangement who again did nothing. Dont waste your time here.
