I went to Clinton Tire and Auto for an oil change after buying a groupon. The staff seemed very knowledgeble and helpful, and told me that i needed a whole new set of brakes (4 pads and rotors) on my car. Having just had them replaced not too long ago, i went back to the dealership who originally did the work with the intention of having it covered under a warrenty. The dealership brought me out to my car, showed me my brakes and rotors, compared them to new pads straight out of the box, and said that they were only 10% worn and could go another 30-45,000 miles before getting replaced. I will not return.

This place lured my GF in with a great price and a promise to beat anyone elses price in order to get her business. When she asked for a quote she asked for the TOTAL AMOUNT including EVERYTHING they quoted her approx 350 dollars. The final bill (after the work was performed) was OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE. The poor excuse was I must have just quoted for the tires....Well that sure isnt the TOTAL AMOUNT including EVERYTHING. They also had ZERO interest in making things right once they had her money. I will be spreading the word about these con-artists. Instead go -ANYWHERE ELSE-.

I work local in Clinton and the owner Scott came in on a usual visit, I told him about my tire that had a bubble in it. Scott took a look at my tire and told me straight away that it needed to be replaced. I brought my car down to Clinton tire and right when i got there Spencer took my keys and assured me i was in good hands. They are very knowledgeable and were very timely about getting my car done fast and efficient. Every single person on there staff has a great can do attitude and are always willing to help. I highly recommend Clinton Tire for the great service and low prices!

This is the worse car shop mechanic place ever. Bob was so rude to me. I brought my car in and they did not fix it properly. $400 later the car was still not working properly and had the same problems. I brought the car back even though the first time they said the left wheel bearing was alright. Second time around they tell a different story and the left wheel bearing is not alright. Instead of fixing it then, now they charge me another few hundred dollars to look at the car again and fix it properly. Do not bring your car here.

I brought two cars into this shop about two months ago. Both cars had severe break problems as well as both needing the batteries replaced. The cars were fixed properly and promptly. I have had no problems since they were fixed and I will be bringing my car back here when it needs service. I also recemended them to my brother who was also satisfied with the work done. Great job

Patricia, below, WAS right - but these new owners are true Clintonians - born here - and great to work with. Mike is terrific and I really trust him - he did $1,500 on my car before my trip down South and it was well worth every penny. Plus, theyre renovating the whole place. So, they get my vote as honest, hard workers who do a first class job.
