Customer service absolutely terrible. Moved out of state for a good 4 months and have spoken to SEVERAL managers about my cancellation. Been charged 4 times for my monthly fee, which had been guranteed by one of the managers that it has been taken care of. Impossible to get a hold of any managers since. Ive been emailing one of them for 4 months about this and still no cancellations, no refunds. Ive sent my proof of address of where I am now. How can you run a business like this? Wasting my time and incredibly inconvenient. Most of the receptionists have been extremely distasteful as well. Rude and terrible customer service all around.

I like this gym but I have a couple of recommendations. -Remove a couple treadmills dont ever seem to all be in use. Get a stretch machine/apparatus, like the BSC south end has. -Push the equipment thats against the front windows closer to the windows. Ex: the chest fly/upper back machine is about 8-10 inches off the wall. It creates a very narrow path for anyone to walk by. I think this will help create a more seamless flow. - make sure the equipment works. Nothing is more annoying when you start on a treadmill,etc, and theta channels or music doesnt work. - tv channels,should be turned to something other then soap operas

I use BSC for more than 10 years. I went to the Central Sq usually because of their professional members. Since this location opened, I came here but I didnt enjoy. If you want to lower your price to compete with planet fitness, you might lower your value. People like to use your facilities because of the cleanliness and professionalism. I found their parking is always not available. Their members dont put theit equipments or clean after used. They used paper towels and left behind. So disgusting! BSC Dorchester members! If you dont want to make this facility like the nasty Planet Fitness, keep it clean and tidy.

Brand new facility. Extremely clean. Equipment is new. Staff is polite. Parking is offered but jammed by other commercial use during peak hours. Minus 2 of 5 stars for: - I hate jogging or doing cardio while looking past the the monitor into the eyes or breath of a stranger. The machines face each other. Hate that set up. - the small lockers next to the coat area have been bread-tied closed, for use by paying overnight customers. Who are they!? Eight months later theres not one locker being used for this purpose. Theyre all bread-tied with the same tacky printed sign. Stop fishing for nickels BSC!

Locker room was very clean and new and fresh. Nice, light colors. The workout area isnt very large though. Theres enough to do everything you would need to do but I dont know if it will be able to accommodate a crowd during rush hour. The trainers seemed to be good. They were working with clients and were very attentive and informative during their sessions. As of today theres an area thats taped off and that takes away some real estate on an already small area. There are some machines that are adjacent to the welcome desk next to the front entrance, which is kind of weird.

At first, I was a little skeptical about the size. Many people said that the gym was very small which made me nervous about finding an available machine. Despite the size, I have yet to wait for a machine, even during peak hours. It is small enough that you can focus on your workout but not too small where you feel over crowded. The machines are updated, the facility is always clean and the trainers are all really friendly. I would have given it five stars if it wasnt for the rough hand towels.

This gym is OK. Very small. Im more upset that they dont care about their members. They were doing Construction for a year which closed down 2/3 of,the gym. Poor communication throughout and Ive left multiple voicemails and emails for the GM without any response. You can never get through to anyone at their Corporate office so there is no way to escalate complaints. One star every time I ha e a chance as they really dont care about their members.

Please, put people on the front desk with ability. (I went to the gym this morning and I asked to switch my gym to Dorchester and the lady told me , I will not to do the switch today and I will charge you $12. Dollars. Maybe She thinks, i found money from the tree.)

A smaller BSC, kinda hard to work out here anymore as a lot of the gym is closed off for renovation work or something. Not a lot of squat racks compared to some of the other BSCs, which is really important to me.

Why is this gym closed. Was open yesterday and without notification via mail, phone or email it is loses today. What happens to my money. Will I be charged for..he.ime it is closed. No one to answer my question.

Staff is super helpful, polite and clean. I personally love the diversity of the neighborhood too. Alot of new places opening up around it.

As for as BSC locations go, this one is completely modern with very friendly staff on hand.
