It isnt bad for what it is, especially it being the most convenient gym for me. The selection is rather decent, with 3 different elliptical machines, 2 different treadmills, and plenty of other equipment. Though, they dont maintain their equipment the best. I have seen treadmills go way overdue for waxing, and you get the feeling you may fall off the ones in the main area. One of the ellipticals doesnt have that much resistance even when set to 100, and the newest ones were brought in being obviously well-used from another gym. Though, it will do the trick overall especially if you need a gym close from your home. They do offer family deals for additional people to sign up within your immediate family, but I do note that once you agree to do this if one person is an existing member and one is new, both members get a 2 year contract from the time you add the member, which overrides the existing contract for the existing member. So yes, although it is a family business, I would rather do business with a big name for better affordability, less contract commitments, and the same or better equipment given any specific machine. Granted, this review doesnt reflect the group fitness offerings as that isnt my interest.

Im not sure when Andrea(below) has been there but this place has had a LOT of updates. They have flat panel High Def screens in the cardio room where there are more treadmills than you can count. More elipticals, mostly all new stuff. $30 bucks a month? We spend more than that at Starbucks! Complaining about tanning not being free? Come on! Are you here to work out or get ready for a beach. If you want a tan then go to a tanning salon, if you want to get fit then this is the place I would recommend. I have been working out for over 20 years and have been to many gyms and I have to say this place has it all, equipment, environment, motivation and a great team of workers to help you with any challenge you may have. You can find other gyms that charge less, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Capt. Ken

I like the different areas but it doesnt seem to have the best maintained equipment and some is old . Also the ac isnt high enough for me ... I felt like it was 80-90 one day !

I cancelled my membership and they continue to bill my account after requesting that they stop. I have to go down and see them again to ask them for a refund.
