It is a smaller gym than the "normal" golds, but the staff are friendly and helpful. They are willing to work with their customers on pricing, which is a big help in this economy. They support the community and are a great addition. My husband, brother and mother all are members and we couldnt be happier. The owner Kevin is awesome and the two personal trainers are helpful :)

Pros: - Staff seem friendly and helpful - Good hours Cons: - Small and crowded especially weeknights - it is a COMPLETE zoo - Not much equipment for "womens" area, not kept up with - Not enough benches - "private area" which is maybe 10 by 5 is useless and has no mirror - Only one bike for cycling which is old and falling apart

I have been going to gyms for 20 yrs and never experienced such poor air quality! I understand you need to run a tight ship but air quality is NOT where you cut corners. If you are going to use the Golds Gym name you should stand by the expectations. The dampers on the roof top units need to be opened up to let in fresh air!!!!!!!

Watch out for the contract. Its easier to pass legislation through congress than to cancel your contract. You have to cancel your membership 30 days in advance in writing or the bills keep coming and off to the collections department you go! I will never join a club that makes you sign a contract.

Horrible gym. Hidden fees, staff is untrustworthy, pricey maintenance fee is attached yearly. Gym is small and not a true golds gym. Not enough equipment, people have to wait in order to use the bench press. Don't waste your time or money.

Stay away, hidden contracts, when trying to cancel they wont let you then get sent to collections after missing 1 payment. Not worth the hassel, can find better gyms or even better work out at home for free.

Not sure what that other reviewer was talking about. Its a great little gym with newer gym equipment, never overly crowded, friendly staff, and very clean. Much better than the nashua golds gym.
