I brought my 15 year old to have high lights. They could take her on short notice. I told them over the phone that I just wanted high lights and no cut. I asked them to write it down so there would be no confusion. I brought her in and I waited doing some paper work and thought I better go to her and see what they are doing. The stylist was away from the chair mixing the color, and I asked my daughter did you tell her you just want a high light? She nodded yes. I said okay and went back to wait. When she was done she came out and the color looked good, but I thought her hair looked cut. They asked for $120. I said $120? I was told the color was $80. They said they cut it too. I said I didnt ask for a cut just a color. What does it say in the book? They looked and concurrred that it stated color only and it also stated do not cut. The owner is who spoke to me from the desk. She was not apologetic. She just looked at me as if I have to pay. The stylist came over and said "I asked her if she wanted a little trim and she said okay." She is a minor. She doesnt look 18. They knew I was in the front waiting. They didnt think to double check with me despite what was written in the book. They expected me to pay. I was so upset and my daughter was embarassed and I know she didnt want me to make a scene, but I, of course, will never go there again. $120 plus I tipped the stylist unfortunately before I went to the front desk. How unprofessional I will never ever go there again. I think people need to know what kind of people run this place.

Literally the best hair cut and color I have ever had (i have gone twice now) - Maura is the best ever, shes super down to earth and just works wonders with hair! Her cuts are always perfect and she recently colored my hair too... I gave her very little direction and my hair has NEVER looked better. Even had my fiancé go for a cut, he just was a walk in, but his hair was so awesome after. We both loved the hair wash, scalp massage is so relaxing. I just love this salon. Its super cute inside and every single staff member goes above and beyond to make their clients happy and comfortable. Ive been working with a manager, Miles, to book my hair and make up for my wedding with Sarah, and they have made it so easy to work with them. I cant wait to continue to go here. Ive finally found the perfect place for my thick hair! I was recommended here by someone I work with and its just the best suggestion. Try this place out, you wont be let down, especially if Maura does your hair!!!

Never again! Had a massage awhile back and staff decided it would be a good idea to vacuum right outside the massage door, banging into the door several times. Were they really that clueless or did they do it on purpose? Massage therapist was good but shes not there anymore. My friend used the hydra spa and said it was dirty. Got a manicure here from G and my 9 year old niece could have done a better job. Tried contacting management first but never heard back so heres my review. Poorly managed, some staff have snooty attitudes, and spa service was very bad.

I recently went to Ochoa as part of a bridal party, for an up-do -- and Krystal did an AMAZING job! Normally, I hate up-dos (especially for a wedding... #hairspray4dayz), but Krystal gave me a super natural, loose look that I absolutely loved (AND it lasted all night). I got so many compliments, and would love for her to do my up-dos for every wedding Im in! Plus, their team of stylists and management are all professional, friendly, and accommodating. Not to mention they have a beautiful salon! Thanks again for a wonderful day.

I went there a couple of times, and at first they were good. Then, the last time i went it was horrible. I went with my mom and she got a colr and cut. She told them she wanted something easy do manage, and wanted a lighter color, but didnt want any red in it. When she did her hair the next morning, there was a very noticable red tint to it, and her hair had so many layers, it looked horrible with her curly/wavy hair. We are now looking for a new salon, as we refuse to go there now.

I received a terrible haircut at another hair salon and called Ochoa 40 minutes before they closed (Saturday night) to ask for an emergency haircut fix. 10 minutes later, Megan was cutting my hair. She somehow turned my mullet-like disaster into a cute, stylish haircut. Megan was professional, and knew exactly how to fix the problem. I was so impressed by how well she listened to what I wanted. I am definitely going to be recommending Ochoa to all of my friends.

I am always treated poorly at this salon. If you want your hair done professionally I would not recommend this place. First of all if you have a problem there is never a manager to talk to. Second, if you dont ask for the price up front you will be shocked when you get the bill. I paid $175 and my hair looked terrible. The also overbook and stack clients so that you have to sit and wait for someone to wash your hair. Do yourself a favor and dont ever go here!

I came in wanting to brighten up my blonde a little. My only other request was for it not to be streaky or skunk-like, as I hate that look. I stupidly let them talk me into lowlights. The lowlights are WAY too dark. And they are in stripes! So, instead of brightening up my blonde in a non-streaky way, they gave me dark brown stripes. Weeks later I am still trying to brighten up those ugly stripes. Remind me never to visit this salon on opposites day again.

Wanted platinum blonde highlights Ended up with more of a light brown carmel highlight color and hairdresser says its because she doesnt Want to damage my hair so come back in 4 weeks to make it lighter a good way to make alot of money i suppose keep me coming back for a tad lighter Ive gotten highlights before and they were way lighter than what she gave me paid 110 for it plus a 25 dollar tip gotten better highlights for 70.00

The salon i usually go to was closed and I was desperate for a haircut. I heard about Ochoa from a friend, came in as a walk-in, and was shocked to find my haircut ended up being $50 for a TRIM plus a tip. Everyone was friendly but I have never been charged that much for a drastically different haircut, nevermind just a trim. You cannot even tell my hair was cut. Needless to say I will not be back.

I went there twice to see if they can do something to make my black hair lighter or add highlights. The first time some girl said she wasnt sure what to do. The second time another girl tried putting bleach on my hair it literally broke off!!! Luckily it was a streak she tested on me. I went to another salon and they did exactly what I wanted. I wonder if these people are properly trained.
