Pros- Food is very good if not a bit pricey for the area. I have been twice and both times the food was very good with generous portions. Cons- The service is awful. I can accept any level of service based on the type of restaurant but for the money the service just needs to be much better. Every level of service from front desk to drink order to actual waitress was disappointing. They dont take reservations which is good for them but bad for the diner. They do accept call ahead seating but we ended up waiting an hour while walk ins got seated ahead of us based on party size despite calling ahead a half hour.. I can understand the logistics but it is still frustrating to wait when you have made arrangements ahead of time. Double the frustration when the staff doing the seating are a handful of high school kids who could not be less empathetic. At the end of dinner, the waitstaff could not wait to rush us out the door. Overall- The food is very good and I dont mind paying for a good meal if the service is right but there are just too many better options for your dining dollar in the Southcoast area to waste money on a frustrating experience.

We went to this restaurant on a recommendation and it is one of the best restaurants weve eaten at! Our waitress was Jackie who was so gracious and gave us top-notch customer service. The calamari and bread appetizer is excellent. The house roasted garlic olive oil is amazing. The sweet potato salad, clam chowder, with non-chewy clams, shrimp scampi, baked apple salmon, scrod with cornbread stuffing and chorizo, prime rib that was perfectly cooked well-done is all sooo delicious, too. I was waiting for a bad dish, but every dish was terrific. Its amazing that a restaurant can make such a variety of dishes so well. Plus, the expresso is excellent. My husband is a coffee snob and I have never heard him say that about any expresso or coffee anywhere. And after all this, we were surprised to find out they had reasonable prices. For 5 people, entrees and an appetizer, the bill was $101. A great atmosphere for families, couples, and travelers. In nicer weather, they even have outdoor seating. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Went in for our 1 year anniversary and it was a great experience. Went in for dinner, no reservation made so wait was about 20-25mins. The server was very kind and took her time. Food was great and tasty. Price is moderate. Good for casual or semi formal to formal. Bathroom was decent. Overall good place to get together with family and friends for a nice lunch/dinner or celebration. Oh and also they would sing to you if its your birthday!

We catered a work lunch for 50 people and everyone was so impressed not only how delicious the food was, but how fresh the ingredients were, and quantity of food. Everything got here hot - perfect temperature. I highly recommend The Pasta House for any catering needs. Brie helped us with the menu choices and portion sizes, and it was perfect! Thank you everyone at The Pasta House, you have 50+ die hard fans!!

Biased as I may be because this was my first job (busser then food runner), I can honestly and legitimately say this is the best fine dining I ate in south coast Massachusetts. I ate the chicken parmigiana almost every night except one and never got sick of it, but their fried calamari and beef tenderloin are also very good.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I go here to celebrate occasions. I went for a friends birthday and after graduation also a few other times. The food was sooo delicious!! The seafood alforno comes with a lot of seafood and the portions are amazing. The drinks are good and food doesnt take too long.

Great place to dine at. Beautiful on the inside and out. They have a small patio that they light candles on the tables. Inside has a nice size bar. Food is awesome and decently priced for this type of restaurant. Great place to take a date.

Great food and great ambiance (indoor and out). They always aim to please- I recently placed a dessert order ay 9:55pm, and although they close at 10pm, they still allowed me to place and takeout my tardy order! Definitely worth a visit.

The food is absolutely excellent and consistent. Every time we come to this restaurant we receive stellar service and fantastic food. Great staff and we LOVE the owner! Order the cookie for dessert... you wont be disappointed ;)

top notch Italian - American restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. Salmon with brown sugar and shrimp Alfredo are my favorite dishes. The only downside to it being so good is that there is almost always a wait.

Theres not a bad item on the menu here. Overall a little higher priced than other restaurants in the area, but there are plenty of more affordable options on the menu. Ample seating and a decent beer selection.
